Vehicle Description: 1968 Cadillac Eldorado project/restore:
Car is locally advertised so in the event an offer is accepted, I reserve right to end auction early so do not wait. This is a 5 day no reserve auction. Please only bid if you intend on following thru with purchase and have funds in order prior to auction end. OK now for the car description... It is recently out of 30+ year storage from ORIGINAL OWNER and ready for a new owner to bring her back to glory. Car is equipped with power everything along with air conditioning. I will be happy to answer any questions. Just email them. I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you.
ONLY 52,000 ORIGINAL Miles since New I also have the ORIGINAL Dealer Invoice for car. Interior: -Seats are 100% original factory white leather. They are in decent shape with your normal leather cracks for their age but no tears or holes. - Dashboard is great. Looks like new. - Drivers side door panel needs replaced or fixed. The armrest is cracked. - Power Windows ALL work good. -All lights interior and exterior work -A/c needs charged/serviced from sitting Exterior: -The paint on the car is the factory special order firemist blue. Current condition of paint is fair(needs repainted). The car is overall solid with minimal rust issues to address. Floors seems to be in good shape along with trunk floor. The trunk lid is rusted on rear lip but for additional $200, I know someone local here who has a rust free southern trunk lid. I could get it for buyer if interested?? - Front and rear bumpers are in average condition. No rust but chrome is a bit hazy. - Door handle chrome is driver quality - All Stainless trim on car is in great shape Engine: This car has not been driven since 1978. A wire from the ignition switch on dash to starter went bad and that is why original owner parked the car in 1978 never to drive it again. The car was started 3 years ago from a gas can and hot wiring. Prior to starting it 3 years ago, the following was replaced -new spark plugs -new cap & rotor points -new wires -New Oil & Filter change -Oil was sprayed in each cylinder and engine was first hand cracked to properly lube it up prior to cranking it since it sat so long. The car started right up but was not driven. There is no exhaust hooked up at this time and I am sure brakes need overhauled as well NOTE: The car has ALWAYS been stored in doors from 1978 to present. It is a restoration project and will need to be trailered home. Note: Any trim missing in photos on the car is located in the trunk (see trunk photo) I also do have all 4 hub caps and they are included with the sale. TOP: Vinyl is in good condition but needs cleaned I have tried to be very detailed and describe all I know about car. It is a project vehicle. Email questions. Thanks! Check my feedback... I have sold a few cars in the past and everyone is always very satisfied as I do my best to accurately describe the car in detail. Thanks again and GOOD LUCK

Cadillac imagines the future of luxury transportation with a drone and a pod
Tue, Jan 12 2021Besides more screens and electric cars, GM and Cadillac made sure to pay tribute to the other darlings of the tech industry: autonomous cars and drones. Both concepts take familiar ideas but add a touch of Cadillac flavor. And don't expect either of them to show up in reality anytime soon. The most fanciful of the two is the Cadillac VTOL concept, which stands for vertical takeoff and landing. It's a fully autonomous drone meant for shuttling people, likely wealthy executives, from rooftop to rooftop in busy cities. It's a single-occupant aircraft with a 90-kWh battery pack and is fully autonomous. It has four sets of two rotors that propel the drone to a top speed of 56 mph. The exterior is unique in having the front and rear sets of rotors at different heights, whereas most seem to have the cabin hanging from the rotors. You can spot some Cadillac cues in the beveled, angled edges. The other concept is the Personal Autonomous Vehicle or PAV. It's a fairly generic-looking autonomous pod with a pastiche of Cadillac design cues such as slim lights and angular trimmings. Cadillac says it's meant to be a social space, hence the wraparound bench seats in the cabin. Cadillac doesn't seem to have forgotten personal comfort, though, as you can spot a single-person recliner. Comfort is key, and Cadillac says the PAV would have biometric sensors to read the passengers and adjust the climate control, humidity, lighting and scents to make the the environment as pleasant as possible. Passengers will have control of vehicle functions via voice and gestures. At the end of theses vehicles' reveals, Cadillac teased more far-flung concepts coming soon. One of them will be a two-seat vehicle and mentioned that it would be for "you and someone very special" for more "intimate" trips. Related Video:
2022 GMC Hummer EV No. 001 at Barrett-Jackson brings $2.5 million
Mon, Mar 29 2021This year's Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., played host to a bunch of the first examples of hot new cars: VIN No. 001 of the 2022 GMC Hummer EV, 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing and CT4-V Blackwing, 2021 Ford Bronco, 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. Every single one of them sold for more than six figures, with all the proceeds of nearly $5 million going to charities, but the big winner was absolutely the Hummer with a hammer price of $2.5 million. The Bronco did nicely, too, with a selling price of $1,075,000. You can see the list of the sale prices from highest to lowest of these first examples below. GMC Hummer EV: $2,500,000 Ford Bronco: $1,075,000 Ford Mustang Mach 1: $500,000 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition: $410,000 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing: $265,000 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing: $165,000 Despite the Hummer going for $2.5 million, it wasn't the most expensive car to cross the block. That honor goes to a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake that was once owned by Carroll Shelby himself. It sold for $5.5 million, the same price it sold for back in 2007. Nearly as pricey as the Hummer was a restored, numbers-matching 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 that went for $2,475,000. Related video:
