An Extraordinary example of a fine restoration done right. Everything fabricated Correct to factory specifications with not a single dollar spared and extra special attention given to every last detail. You would be hard pressed to find a finer example of a Show quality 62 Eldorado anywhere in the world.

In 1962 if you walked into the Cadillac dealer showroom they had many models to offer. If you wanted the very "top of the line" with all modern technologies and comforts you purchased the "Eldorado Biarritz". The very best Cadillac had to offer. A model that ONLY came in a Convertible. Fully loaded with power options including 6 way power seats, cruise control, windows, locks, convertible top, brakes, antenna, auto dimming headlights, auto trunk lid and much more.

This is a complete and total "frame on" restoration. Everything that can break and needs replacing has been replaced on this vehicle with no expense spared.

A list of items repaired, restored or replaced as follows:

New Convertible (Cr`eme) Top, New Radiator, New Heater Core, Refurbished "Wonderbar" Radio, New T-3 Headlights all around, New control valve, New Convertible hydraulic motor and lines, New Genuine Leather interior, Refurbished door panels and Sun visors, New Eldorado only option Parade Boot, New Carpeting, New front and Rear bumpers (Show Quality Chrome), New Brakes including Master Cylinder and hose lines, all 4 Wheel Cylinders and Break booster, Rebuilt Speedometer, New Fuel sending unit, New voltage regulator, Rebuilt Generator, 5 Brand New 235X75R15 Whitewall Mastercraft tires, Rebuilt windshield wiper motor, New wiper blades, New Front and Rear Springs, New A/C Delco Shocks all around, New factory correct "Tar-Top" A/C Delco Battery, Refurbished clock, New 6 way power electric seat motor, New Rubber seals for trunk, New door and window weather seals all around, Rebuilt Transmission, Brand New front and rear correct 62 Cadillac floor mats included and the list goes on...

As you can see from the photos this is a Show quality restoration that commands attention wherever it goes. Everything on car works as should. Car starts, drives, stops, shifts all as smoothly as a Cadillac should. There is no visible rust anywhere on this car. All interior and exterior lighting works as well as the turn signaling and horn. Car was painted 5 years ago in basecoat/clearcoat Cadillac color Driftwood Beige and interior is freshly NEW using Genuine Leather interior in a color combination known as Sandalwood. Every chrome and stainless piece has been polished or replaced making this Eldorado gleam in the Florida sun.

There were 160,840 Cadillac's produced in 1962 with only 1450 of them being an Eldorado Biarritz. There are believed to be less than 100 of these left in existence today and most of them are NOT in this restored condition. Most others are originals or now older restorations that need attention. Paint is near perfect, chrome is show and interior is Brand New leather (perfect). Everything is back "Original" to 1962 with no customization. This Eldorado needs nothing now to be considered show quality and is far beyond road worthy.

Other Eldorado's for sale may be older restorations showing age or original vehicles that now need attention. This Eldorado is tip-top freshly restored all work done in the past 5 years and with proper care will stay in this shape for a very long time.

Anyone interested in this Vehicle needs to understand that with very few things to "Invest" money in nowadays, as long as kept in cool dry storage this Eldorado will skyrocket further in value in soon coming years.

Nada Values a "62 Series" model which was the entry level Convertible model at $47,300 currently:

This Eldorado Biarritz is a top level model of a Legendary American Luxury Automaker during the Jet Age "Fin-Era". Years 1955-1961 Eldorado's are all worth nearing or over $100K. This 1962 model year is next in line to head in that direction. We are honestly very sad to have to sell.

We would like to see this car go to good home who will take care of it and appreciate it as much as we have.

Timely hole-in-one wins high schooler a Cadillac or $50,000

Wed, Jun 26 2019

If it happens at all, many golfers knock in hole-in-ones in the quiet of a mediocre local course while three friends sit in their carts drinking Coors Lights. After dreaming of the moment for years, lucky golfers barely have time to process the tremendous achievement before it's followed up with a double bogey on the next hole. That wasn't the case for high schooler Jack Kyger, who drilled an ace during a golf outing, and in turn, won a Cadillac or $50,000. Kyger, a junior at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek, Mich., says he wasn't even considering a hole-in-one when he stepped up to the tee on the fourth hole at the Battle Creek Country Club. A secondary prize, a TV, would be awarded to the golfer who came closest to the pin, so Kyger was simply trying to get it close to the cup. In front of his dad and Harper Creek Superintendent Rob Ridgeway, he stuck the shot just past the hole, and with some backspin, it rolled into the pin. It's the first time somebody has hit the bullseye at the Gene Lewis Hughes, Sr. Memorial Golf Outing, which has raised more than $150,000 for the Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Care Center throughout the years. By hitting a hole-in-one, Kyger won a $50,000 decision: take home a Cadillac or a big bag of $50,000 in cash. As a student preparing to go to college, it's not an easy choice. "I haven't made up my mind," Kyger said in a USA Today article. "But the way I think about it, no 17-year-old needs a brand new Cadillac to drive around in. I have a truck that gets me places. So, if I take the cash, I would probably put most of it away for college, but keep a little back to have a bit of fun, you know." Smart kid. We did notice a peculiarity about the prize. In the attached photo, the Cadillac at the event appears to be a Cadillac ATS-V. Those familiar with Cadillac's performance vehicles know that an ATS-V starts at significantly more than $50,000 - $68,790 to be exact. So we're not sure why they're calling it a $50,000 Cadillac, unless it's a lightly used vehicle or the Cadillac in question is in fact a different car entirely. No matter the price, it sounds like Kyger is going to take the cash. If he sticks to practicing his golf game, maybe he can earn some more money for college, too. Cadillac XT4-V on the way?

Fri, Jul 19 2019

An anonymous photographer sent Cadillac Society two tightly cropped images of an XT4 crossover wearing two surprising badges. On the right, above the taillight, there's a 2.7 badge, In the lower right corner there's a V Series badge — the full-fat, multicolored V badge, not the monochrome V-Sport version. The images — assuming they're real — elicit more questions and no answers, the first being, is this the XT4 V-Sport that's been rumored since last October? Back then, GM Authority discovered front and rear images of such a vehicle hiding in plain sight, on a Cadillac site landing page. The backside of a thick-hipped XT4 is graced with the old V-Sport badge. We know the carmaker has split its V Series cars into two tiers, the lower intended to be less intimidating than before, the upper tier the continuation of the mongo V Series cars we've known and loved. The hints have been that the entry level will be called V Series, while the upper level takes the name "Blackwing," after the name of Cadillac's new 4.2-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine. With Mark Reuss himself having said, "We got rid of all the V-Sports," this supposed XT4-V offers more proof that V Series effectively represents a new V-Sport line. The only cosmetic giveaways to increased performance we can see are a carbon fiber trim in the license plate area, and an exhaust treatment similar to that on the recently introduced CT4-V. We're not certain what the 2.7 badge means for V branding on crossovers. The standard XT4 wears a 2.0 badge on the tailgate, representing its 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The XT5 gets a number, too, but the XT6 does not. GM's 2.7-liter four cylinder with 311 hp and 348 lb-ft first showed up in the Chevy Silverado, will get 320 hp and 369 lb-ft in the coming CT4-V, and has been predicted for the XT4-V. However, V cars — both Sport and Series — have never worn displacement badges. The new CT4-V and CT5-V go without numerical identifiers on their decklids. If there is an XT4-V on the way this year, we only have a few months before we see it and get some answers.

Cadillac teases camo'd ELR ahead of Detroit debut

Tue, 08 Jan 2013

With the 2014 Cadillac ELR being introduced next week at the Detroit Auto Show, General Motors has revealed another picture of its luxury range extended electric vehicle. Last month, we saw a dark, teaser photo showing some of the body detail for the electric coupe, but this recent photo shows the Cadillac in full camouflage testing in California back in September.
If this car looks familiar, it's because our spy shooters got a jump on GM by catching the car in action and providing pictures from all angles. There are still no official details for the ELR yet aside from the fact that it will share the Voltec system with the Chevrolet Volt, but we'll finally see the car unveiled in Detroit a week from today.
