Here is a classic 2000 Cadillac Sedan De Ville in tan / gold with tan leather seating. Vinyl top. The car is EXCELLENT / Near MINT with ONLY 73,000 miles. I purchased from my neighbors mother who purchased new and kept garaged in salt free Florida its entire life (up to 69,000 miles. I bought it and have put just 14,000 miles on it driving back and forth to Nashville AND kept it garaged as well. NEVER driven in winters. NO RUST. NO CORROSION. Had NEW Michelin Tires placed on it at 69,000 miles. $800 in new tires. I have rotated and balanced twice since owning. Oil changed every 3000 miles. I paid a car detailing co. $200 to have it fully detailed including the engine compartment (Northstar). I get "nice new car!" all the time. Has the chrome wheels as an option as well. Cadillac Badge on the Grill. All Power and ALL works. Trunk appears to have never been used. The only negatives are the warning lights stay on, but they have been that way since I bought the car at 69,000 miles. AND I have had NO issues. I as well had the lights checked out to see if there was any concerns and there are ZERO concerns. I was told simply disconnecting the battery and re-connecting and the lights would most likely reset all warning lights. I can forward additional photos no problem. Nothing to hide. A beautiful car that appears to be as recent model up close. ALWAYS garaged and well maintained. I was told there were no accidents or issues when I acquired from the elderly owner. I am only selling as I dont need the car any longer, but I would consider in trade a very clean 4x4 SUV (full size) or 4x4 Pickup truck (8 or 10 cylinder) even if it has high mileage or consider a low mileage vintage snowmobile in partial trade or an enclosed 2-3 place snowmobile trailer in partial trade. MUST be as clean as this car though. $500 deposit immediately upon purchase and balance due in 48 hours. Paypal buyers must add 4% as not to take a loss on my end. Prefer emails first but cell phone available at 615-504-1512. The vehicle is located near Middletown, Ohio a mile from I-75. Thank you! Feel Free to reach out with any additional questions. I wanted to add a couple notes. The comfort of the ride is second to none. Please note in one photo, two tiny scratches. They are located on the bumper under the trunk lock. there is one quarter size ding on the lower rear passenger side quarter panel. Hardly noticeable. The front air dam is EXCELLENT with one dime size blemish where it appears some yellow paint rubbed off from a higher curb. Possibly will buff out. The tires have about 85%/90% tread life left. Matching Michelin set all the way around. I have had previous ebay listings with 700 plus 100% and 928 plus at 100%. I have sold approx. 5-6 personal vehicles the past ten years on ebay with NO complaints. I am not a dealer, just rotate cars more often than most. Looking to get back into a truck. AND finally I get consistently 25-28 MPG on the highway. Comes with nearly a full tank of gas. The car is not driven daily so the mileage will remain at just above 73,000.

2021 Cadillac Escalade teases us with sliver of a design preview
Thu, Jan 23 2020We know the 2021 Cadillac Escalade will be breaking cover on February 4 to join its full-size GM truck compatriots. And now we know Spike Lee will have the honors of introducing the Cadillac at the Oscars through a short film he directed called “Anthem.” Cadillac also took the opportunity to tease the new Escalade's front end with this nugget of a preview. We get to see the grille, headlight and DRL design of the 2021 Escalade, staring daggers through Spike LeeÂ’s back in a studio. The grille is a traditional Escalade look, eschewing the grille design seen on more recent Cadillac SUVs like the XT6 and XT4. It uses larger silver bars that scythe across the front end as opposed to the mesh and speckled black/chrome seen on the Cadillac crossovers. Similar to the XT6, however, it does go with a horizontal main headlight and a vertical DRL. This marks a departure from the vertically-oriented headlights weÂ’re used to seeing on the biggest Cadillac. WeÂ’ll note that the bumper-width lower grille appears to be done in black, but thereÂ’s no shortage of chrome on this EscaladeÂ’s front end. Our best look at the interior is through a grainy video Cadillac teased to us about a month ago. ItÂ’s going to have 38 inches of curved screen, using OLED technology. ThatÂ’s going to be lovely to look at. The front end teased in this photo is plenty fine, too, but weÂ’re not seeing anything thatÂ’ll upset the apple cart from an exterior design perspective yet.
Luxury car brands scrambling to avoid a blue Christmas
Thu, Nov 2 2017DETROIT — When financial markets surge to new records, sales of luxury cars usually rise, too. Instead, October U.S. auto sales reports on Wednesday showed that a collapse in sales of luxury sedans is accelerating. Consumers have gradually shifted over to luxury sport utility vehicles from sedans in the past decade, but the trend — which has occurred in both the non-luxury and luxury sedan segments of the auto market — was particularly pronounced in October. Sales of Daimler AG's Mercedes-Benz S-Class, long a global benchmark for large, premium sedans, plunged 49 percent in October, and are down 24.8 percent for the year to date. General Motors' Cadillac brand said it sold just 779 of its CTS sedans in October. Demand for that car, designed to compete with German luxury sedans, is down nearly 33 percent for the year. "There's still a significant portion of the market that wants a car, but I'm sure there were people who preferred a horse to a car at one point." Cadillac's best-selling model this year is the XT5 compact SUV, which has more than doubled sales from a year ago. The shift within the luxury vehicle market away from sedans toward SUVs of all sizes is forcing some of the most prestigious brands to scramble to add SUV models to their lineups or boost SUV production to meet demand. "In the short term, there will be pressure to add (consumer) incentives, cut production or both," said Cox Automotive analyst Michelle Krebs. "And we just don't see an end in sight to this trend." The Dow Jones Industrial Average has been trading at all-time highs, usually a good sign for luxury sedans, but as major automakers reported new U.S. vehicle sales for October on Wednesday, sales for passenger cars continued their slide while luxury SUV and crossover sales rose again. According to Kelley Blue Book data, in 2007 luxury sedans made up 7.6 percent of U.S. new vehicle sales, while luxury SUVs made up 4.2 percent. Through September this year, luxury SUVs made up just over 7 percent of the market, compared with 4.9 percent for luxury sedans. In the short term, luxury brands could use holiday season sales promotions to clear slow-selling sedans off dealer lots, analysts said. Toyota's Lexus brand said on Wednesday it will launch its "December to Remember" year-end sales promotion for the 18th straight year.
Cadillac puts on a big performance for the Oscars with 'Rise' campaign
Sun, Feb 24 2019Cadillac skipped the Super Bowl, saving its big play for the 91st Oscars telecast tonight. America's luxury brand has a presence planned for nearly every medium, from television to Twitter to stairstep stories tied into the new commercial campaign. Speaking of which, that campaign is called "Rise," and lauds the "now-complete SUV portfolio" as well as Cadillac's determination to get back to the top. Four new spots will debut: "Rise Above," celebrating the XT6 and the rest of the new range, "Take the Stage," focused on the Escalade, "Make Your Escape," all about the XT4, "Take Flight," for the XT5. The first commercial will be 60 seconds, while the other three are 30-second spots. Cadillac chose Childish Gambino's song "Me and Your Mama" for the campaign soundtrack — it works a lot better than you might guess based on the track name. Beyond that, the Cadillac logo will grace the red carpet, the first time any commercial logo has made a home on the walk of honor. The stairs will be decorated with blue horizontals, inspired by the stair-like pattern of blue in the Cadillac crest. The blue in the carmaker's logo is said to represent "knightly valor" — which, yes, is totally made up, but Cadillac made it up a long time ago, not for this campaign. The real point is that two celebrities in attendance will stand on the steps and present their own stories of rising up. You can check out all the commercials here, watch them unveiled in real time during the Oscars telecast, keep up with what your eleventy hundred Twitter friends think by checking out the hashtag #KeepRising, and finish it off with some time on the Keep Rising microsite.
