Very clean, everything works, except for light in engine compartment and power switch on radio, which is problem on all '93 DeVilles. I solved this by leaving the power button on full time. If I don't want to listen to radio, I simply turn the volume off. I am third owner of this car, which I bought in 2008. Since owning, I have put new plugs and wires, new brake rotors, new tires, new water pump, and had transmission serviced twice. I have taken many cross country trips in this car and it has never let me down. I would not hesitate to get into it today and drive anywhere. It is powerful and very comfortable to drive. I have always changed the oil and lubed chassis at 5K miles. It uses no oil and gets about 20-22 miles per gallon on highway. The air conditioning system works great, as do the power windows, seat, and locks. Tires have about 10-15 thousand miles left on them. It is the second set of tires I have had installed. There is no rust on this car anywhere...and the trunk is very clean. The Cadillac Coupe DeVille was manufactured from 1953 to 1993, so this is the last of the Coupe DeVilles. I really like this car and would keep it, but I must sell due to personal reasons. It will made someone a very nice car at a very low price. Thanks for looking!

Next-gen Cadillac Escalade debuting October 7 in NYC
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Cadillac will unveil the next Escalade in October, at an event in New York City. It will be the sole member of GM's large SUV family to not get a debut at the Texas State Fair, which we don't think is all that surprising, considering the kind of clientele attracted by the big Caddy.
The new truck, from the few teaser images and spy shots we've seen, has evolved with the rest of the Cadillac range. We've got a glimpse of its tall, thin headlights, which look like an evolution of what's on the current truck. Expect some kind of egg-crate grille, reminiscent of the new CTS and ATS, while Cadillac's CUE system should feature heavily in what we hope is a thoroughly revised cabin.
The event takes place on October 7, so check back then for more info on the all-new Escalade.
2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe prepares to fight BMW 4 Series
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Cadillac introduced its new ATS Coupe at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show today, bringing customers an alternative to the growing range of sport luxury coupes typified by the BMW 4 Series, Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe.
The ATS Coupe, as a slightly more premium offering, ditches the wheezy 2.5-liter engine found in the basic ATS Sedan, but retains the four-door's 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.6-liter V6. That four-pot turbo benefits from a fettling that has increased torque from 260 pound-feet to 295, although its peak is only available from 3,000 rpm to 4,600 rpm, unlike in the sedan, where peak twist arrives at just 1,700 rpm and sticks around until 5,500 rpm.
Power can be channeled to either the rear or all four wheels by the owner's choice of a Tremec six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. According to Cadillac, the new Coupe can get to 60 in 5.6 seconds when fitted with the 2.0-liter turbo.
Cadillac prepares to top its own 'Ring record with upcoming new CTS-V
Mon, 14 Jul 2014It was a big deal back in 2008 when the original Cadillac CTS-V clocked a lap time of 7:59 at the Nürburgring, making it the fastest sedan ever to lap the Nordschleife to that date. Not many four-doors have bested that time since - the list consisting pretty much only of the Porsche Panamera Turbo - but now hot hatches are lapping faster than that, so you can bet that the new one will manage an even better time.
Now we've spotted the upcoming new CTS-based performance sedan several times before undergoing testing in locations around the world, but this is the first time we've seen it at the Nürburgring, apparently using the Goodyear Dunlop test facility as its base of operations (and still wearing Michigan manufacturer plates, incidentally). Considering how well the outgoing CTS-V performed and how much further you can bet Cadillac will push the envelop this time around, a new sedan lap record is almost a certainty - and we can only hope for an all-out war between Europe's performance sedan power houses to ensue.
