The paint is peeling but shines bright & like new when washed & the backseat interior is in good condition & so is the floor & passenger seat but the driver seat is ripped & both motors on both of the power seats need to be replaced & because of poor conditions I had to remove the pockets on both the driver & passenger seats. The dashboard is cracked & the headliner has been removed due to poor conditions & the antenna needs a new motor also. The vehicle has original hubcaps with hubcap locks but I do not have the key although i'm told that I can find it at any local tire shop It also comes with the factory issued handbook manual.
FEATURES: This vehicle is all factory with factory parts & has been well maintenanced & cared for the only modifications it has are vougue tires which were $200 a piece & an alpine stereo AM/FM CD PLAYER system.
HISTORY: This vehicle was an inheritance from my brother that I received in January after his passing so it holds very centimental value to me & i'm not interested in selling it for any less than $5600 the price is not negotiable & will not be lowered so my advice if you are interested is simple if you don't have that kind of money please do not contact me I am not interested in hearing from you. Im only selling it because I no longer have the space to keep it nor do I have the extra money for storage with that being the case i'd rather sell her to a car restoration or lowrider enthusiast that will give her a good home & a good long life. Her name is "KRISTINA" my 1979 Cadillac coupe deville & she will be good to you if you are good to her (ONLY GENUINE BUYERS WANTED)
SHIPPING & PAYMENT: If you are a private buyer , dealership , restoration or hydraulic shop owner in another state or country I would prefer that you be aware that all shipping responsibilities are on you to handle & that you must make travel arrangements as the buyer to meet with me in person so you can asses the vehicle , make the purchase , sign the proper paperwork & accompany me to the DMV to complete the transfer in person after the purchase has been made whatever arrangements you make to get it home are between you & your new car you can drive it or ship it the car runs great so it's optional.
If you are a local buyer & you live in California state just a different city please be advised that the vehicle does run strong is tagged & will drive anywhere so you can come & pick it up & drive off with it after purchase is complete IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE TOWED.......... unless that is just something you prefer to do.

Junkyard Gem: 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
Wed, Jul 31 2019The Cadillac Division was riding high in 1969, with sales numbers far surpassing those of Lincoln and Imperial. A few more years remained before fuel prices would go crazy, and prosperous Americans knew that a sleek DeVille or Eldorado gave them bragging rights at the country club. Here's a thoroughly used-up '69 Coupe DeVille, finally at the end of its journey and residing in a self-service wrecking yard in Denver, Colo. This inspection certificate shows that the car lived in Louisiana a decade ago. Since this is the sort of pervasive rust that occurs in places much wetter than arid High Plains Colorado, we can assume that this DeVille spent many years in the land of gumbo and alligators. The decklid sports Fleetwood badging and a Rickenbaugh Cadillac emblem, but Cadillac didn't make two-door Fleetwoods in 1969. Perhaps a Colorado-sold Fleetwood donated its decklid to replace a rust-ravaged lid on this car. Actually, there's a good chance it was purchased at this very yard. The once-opulent interior has suffered greatly over the decades, with the reek of mildewed carpeting and irradiated leather giving it That Hooptie Car Smell. Try to picture what this scene looked like in happier days, a half-century ago. The 1969 Cadillac V8 engine displaced a mighty 472 cubic inches (that's 7.8 liters to those of you living under the cruel knout of the metric system) and delivered a gross 375 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. Scaling in at 4,595 pounds (about a half-ton less than a new Escalade), the DeVille needed that power to keep up with those cheap-but-V8-equipped Chevy Chevelles. For 1970, Cadillac would stroke this engine to a staggering 500 cubic inches for Eldorado buyers. This engine family lasted through 1984, after which it was replaced by the much-loathed High Technology V8. The build quality and snob appeal of the 1969 Cadillacs kept them on the road for decades after most of their peers got crushed, but this one was just too far gone to be worth restoring. Cadillac caught testing the upcoming XT3 SUV again
Mon, Feb 20 2017Days ago, the Cadillac XT3 was caught covered in more black plastic bags than an average Home Depot can hold. Now, more photos have surfaced of the compact crossover doing cold weather testing, still wearing binliner camo. There are still details that can be detected from underneath all the make-up, as the car wears a familiar Cadillac grille and edgy LED headlights. The rear shots do show tail lights fashioned into the camouflage, but those might be there just to throw everybody off: the C-pillars have lights way up from the usual spots, and that might be the location for the actual tail lights, giving the car characteristically narrow Cadillac style lighting in the rear. To match the German competition in this segment, it is likely that the XT3 will be powered by four-cylinder turbocharged engines, and the intercooler under the front bumper can be a confirmation of this. Petrolicious eats up Rita Hayworth's 1953 Cadillac Ghia
Wed, Feb 11 2015The automotive industry has seem some wonderful transoceanic collaborations between America and Italy, from the Ford-powered De Tomasos of the 1960s to the alliance between Fiat and Chrysler today. Of course it's also seen unfortunate experiments in between like the Chrysler TC by Maserati and the Pininfarina-bodied Cadillac Allante. But before any of those, there was a beautiful tradition of rebodying American steel at the hands of Italian carrozzerie. And this could easily be among the most gorgeous of them all. It's a Cadillac Series 62 from 1953 with bodywork by Ghia. It's one of only two made, and has a star-studded history. The car was purchased by Aly Khan, prince of the Nizari Ismaili muslims and Pakistan's ambassador to the United Nations, for his wife... who just so happened to be the inimitable Rita Hayworth. They split up, but she held on to the car. Today it's part of the permanent collection at the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA, so the videographical artisans at Petrolicious went by to check it out. You'll want to as well in the five-minute short above.
