We have most maintenance records from 1976 to the present. This car is preserved, not restored. The vehicle has new tires, Hancooks. New master cylinder and vacuum booster. New blower motor. The whole A/C system is only a few years old. It has a new starter. New battery. New alternator. New water pump. New clutch head fan. New radiator. A rebuilt carborator, rebuilt distributer, EFI. New fuel pump. It is a matching numbers car. All original except the parts replaced to keep it running. It does need a new ball joints on the passenger side. The car is very solid, the interior is original, the leather is cracked. Being 40 years old. Has an original vinyl hard top in great shape. The body is straight except a few small dings and the paint is original with 40 years of were and tear. Again the car has been preserved, not restored. Transmission does have a small leak, it may need to be looked into later on.
I am the 4th owner of the vehicle. It has been a southern California car and sat outside for some time until I got it. It's been garage stored and driven every once in a while since I have owned it, mostly driven during the cold times, the vehicle does over hear during 105 degree weather so be cautious. Any Cadillac does not like desert heat this isn't a problem that's mechanical.

Question of the Day: Worst year of the Malaise Era?
Thu, Jun 23 2016The Malaise Era for cars in the United States spanned the 1973 through 1983 model years, and featured such abominations as a Corvette with just 205 horsepower (from the optional engine!) and MGBs with suspensions jacked way up to meet new headlight-height requirements. There were many low points throughout this gloomy period, of course. The horrifyingly low power and fuel-economy numbers for big V8s during the middle years of the Malaise Era make a strong case for 1974 or 1975— the years of Nixon's resignation and the Fall of Saigon, respectively— as the most Malaisey years. But then the GM-pummeling debacles of the Chevy Citation and Cadillac Cimarron could make an early-1980s year the low point. 1979, the year of the ignominious Chrysler bailout? You choose! Sun, 31 Mar 2013In case you haven't got enough of the 2014 Cadillac CTS that just debuted at the New York Auto Show, Cadillac has let us have some rolling footage of the car around its test track along with a few words from VP of marketing Don Butler and executive director of design Mark Adams.
You won't learn much more about its 420-horsepower, twin-turbo V6 but you can hear how it growls in the rain, and you can get a better idea of how you'll look in the driver's seat giving it a workout. That's got to be worth something, right? You'll find both videos just below.
