Hi, up for auction is my all original 1954 Cadillac Sport Coupe DeVille. This has had one owner most of it's life. This has always been a Northern/Southern California car, a true survivor with only 49,300 original miles logged on the clock. Runs and drives, never wrecked, or molested, this Caddy is a bit of a time capsule. All the bright work and chrome is in extremely good condition for it's age and the fact that it is unrestored. Doors open and close effortlessly, and glass is in amazing condition as well. Factory dual exhaust that still flows thru the rear bumper!!! I believe the white wall tires may be original to the car. I have taken very detailed pictures of the Cadillac, please take the time to look at them carefully. Please, if there is a specific question you have on the Cadillac or a specific picture you would like to see, please ask before bidding. Please feel free to email me or you can call direct at (650) 400-8836

I answer all questions quickly!! The Cadillac is located here in the San Francisco bay area and is available to be seen in person. The car is located 15 minutes from the San Jose air port as well. Please keep in mind this is a original unrestored fifty nine year old classic Cadillac, it doesn't any cooler than this!!

Thanks for looking, good luck on the auction and....
                                   Happy Bidding!!

SRX-replacing Cadillac XT5 spied for the very first time

Thu, 30 Oct 2014

Cadillac has got big plans in place to revitalize its lineup, with new sedans, coupes and crossovers. And it all starts with this, the replacement for the SRX.
Expected to be called XT5 in line with the brand's new naming scheme, the crossover will be based on a scalable new platform called C1XX - or Chi, for short. In its shorter form, Chi is anticipated to underpin the XT5 as well as a new Chevy crossover and the next-gen GMC Acadia. In long-wheelbase form, the platform is slated to give us a larger Cadillac crossover as well as a new Buick Enclave and Chevy Traverse.
Power in the XT5 will be provided by a choice of turbo four or atmospheric six, potentially to be transmitted through GM's new nine-speed automatic.

2015 Cadillac Escalade on sale in April priced at $71,695*

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

With the fourth-generation Cadillac Escalade set to go on sale in April, Cadillac has released the pricing data for its fullsize luxury SUV. While there's no retail configurator yet, the data posted on AOL Autos - and confirmed by Cadillac - shows that the 2015 Escalade will have a starting price of $71,695 (*not including $995 for destination).
This new starting price is about $8,000 more than the outgoing model, but Cadillac is quick to point out that the latest 'Slade is packed with more standard equipment in the new base Standard trim that actually puts it more on par with the midlevel Premium trim on the 2014 model (currently priced at $73,245). These new standard features include Magnetic Ride Control, LED headlights and taillights and 20-inch wheels.
Stepping up to the 2015 Escalade Luxury, the price increases to $75,695 and includes added equipment like 22-inch wheels, head-up display, power fold-and-tumble second-row seats and safety systems such as forward collision warning and lane departure warning. The top-rung 2015 Escalade Premium will start at $80,195 adding features such as a rear-seat entertainment system, illuminated exterior door handles and the Driver Assist Package consisting of front and rear automatic braking and adaptive cruise control.

Combative de Nysschen defends Cadillac move, naming change

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

Johan de Nysschen isn't afraid of taking quick, decisive actions, even if they are criticized. Since taking the wheel at Cadillac, he instigated moving the luxury division's base of operations to Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood and introduced a new naming scheme for the future of the brand, like he did at Infiniti. The polarizing boss recently explained his feelings about the future of Cadillac in more depth on his Facebook page, but unfortunately only his friends could read it. Thankfully, Daily Kanban posted much of the strongly worded missive for the whole world to see.
Much of the message examines the decision to move some employees to New York. De Nysschen claims that it's all about giving Cadillac distance from Detroit to reshape itself. It allows for, "No distractions. No side shows. No cross-brand corporate considerations. No homogenized lowest common denominator approach. Just pure, unadulterated, CLASS."
