This is a great condition used CTS-V! Its has been adult driven, only averaged about 9,000 miles a year, oil has been changed every 3000 to 3500 miles with synthetic oil, newer tires on the front with only a few thousand miles on them, rear tires have about 60% to 70% tread, brake pads are great, a professionally installed MP3 player port in the middle console, the interior is in amazing condition, no tears in the leather or damage, back and rear windows are tinted, the car has been waxed every month or so with no swirl marks, hasnt been driven in snow, hardly driven in rain since I work from home, and the car really does drive great. There are no leaks or any mechanical issues with the car what so ever, it has been really well taken care of. The previous owner did however managed to mess up the paint on the front bumper and rear bumper as you can see in the pictures. I didnt get an exact reason as to what happened but I have checked the title and everything is clear of wrecks. Also, he managed to get a dent on the rear corner panel as you can see in the pictures as well. The few cosmetic issues arent really noticeable unless youre up really close looking at them and do not affect the way the car drives. I also have a full Corsa exhaust I have taken off the car that I will throw in for an extra $800 after the sale price or Im going to sell it separately. 2016 Cadillac ATS-V brandishes 450 horses and 6-speed manual
Tue, 11 Nov 2014Details about the hotly anticipated 2016 Cadillac ATS-V are tumbling out, and they look to be everything we could ask for in a high-performance Caddy coupe.
According to Road & Track, the ATS-V will use a version of the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 from the CTS Vsport, but the wick will be turned up to 450 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. In glorious news for driving enthusiasts everywhere, that potent mill will be available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.
According to R&T, the engine has a heap of high-performance tech to let it make the extra ponies, including titanium connecting rods, two water-to-air intercoolers, titanium turbines for the turbos and an additional radiator dedicated to cooling the gearbox and electronically locking differential. Keeping it all planted are a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and a suspension with 50 percent more roll stiffness.
2015 Cadillac ATS sedan gets early reveal in making-of video
Mon, 30 Jun 2014Cadillac is apparently preparing to roll out a minor facelift for the ATS sedan - which we know not because General Motors has already revealed it or because we're looking at it in a fresh batch of spy shots (though we've seen that too), but because a behind-the-scenes video from the filming of its commercial has leaked out online. Which may be bad news for Cadillac, and even worse news for the film production company, but good news for us, because we get to see it ahead of schedule.
The revised sports sedan seems to be sporting a new front bumper and less egg-cratey grille with Caddy's new wreath-less badge at its center, all apparently put in place to bring the sedan more in line with the new ATS coupe.
We're sure Cadillac will be revealing the updated 2015 ATS sedan shortly, but you can scope it out right now in the video below. By way of comparison, we've included an image gallery of the current ATS, released back in 2013, as well.
Cadillac logo losing its wreath?
Tue, 23 Jul 2013The easily recognizable Cadillac logo dates back to the company's founding in the early 1900s, but over the last 110 years, there has been an on-again, off-again love affair with the wreath surrounding the crest. Cadillac's current badge design has used the wreath since the 1980s, but Automotive News is reporting that GM's luxury division is planning to ditch the laurel wreath for a cleaner-looking logo.
The new logo could make its debut as early as next month on a new concept car that will be revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, although the report also says that it might be until 2015 before it makes its way to a production car. Even then, it doesn't like anything has been finalized yet, as the article also says that plans could still change.
As Cadillac looks to improve its global presence as a luxury automaker, the report says that a simpler logo could make it easier for designers to incorporate the badge onto the car - either in the grille or above the grille (possibly in a fashion similar to Mercedes-Benz).
