Up for auction is a 2004 Cadillac CTS V. Vehicle has low mileage. Car is a salvage vehicle that was rebuilt. This CTS is in good and clean condition. I have owned it for the past 3 years. I have maintained it well. This car is stock. Every option offered for this year. The car is black with tan interior. LS6 motor with a 6 speed manual transmission. Features: Interior is in excellent condition with no stains or tears. It has never been smoked in. The leather on the seats is in excellent condition. Carpet is clean Automatic digital climate control with dual settings for front seats. Air conditioner blows cold. Leather interior Heated, full power front buckets with lumbar support 2 driver memory settings that control the driver seat position, as well as mirrors, radio settings, a/c settings etc. Factory owners manual and all literature that came with the car. Cadillac considering more engines, Vsport model for Escalade
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Want to roll in the latest Cadillac Escalade? You can get it with a 6.2-liter V8... or a 6.2-liter V8. Cadillac only offers the one engine option. But that may soon change.
According to the latest from Automotive News, Cadillac is contemplating a couple of new powertrain options for its blingin' big ute. The report suggests a twin-turbo V6 and a V6 turbodiesel could be offered, and that Cadillac could create a Vsport version of the Escalade like it offers on the new CTS sedan.
The more diverse engine offerings would help attract buyers from the new Lincoln Navigator, its prime competitor, which switched from a 5.4-liter V8 this year to a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. The turbo V6 engines (both gasoline and diesel) would also help Cadillac market the Escalade overseas - particularly in Europe, where higher fuel prices preclude the prospect of driving a big V8 SUV for many buyers. Escalade sales have dropped from 35-40k units in the mid-2000s to around 12,000 the past couple of years.
Cadillac recalls ELR coupe over stability control problems
Fri, 28 Mar 2014Cadillac is recalling about 656 2014 ELR models made between September 26, 2013 and February 14, 2014, because of a fault with the electronic stability control system. On cars without adaptive cruise control, it's possible that diagnostics could prevent the system from telling the driver if ESC is on or off.
Cadillac has a software fix ready and repairs begin on April 17. Alan Adler, General Motors' recall and legal spokesperson, tells Autoblog that only about 55 of the affected cars are in the hands of owners. The rest are either on dealer lots or still at the factory. There have been no reported injuries or crashes caused by the fault.
The correction for the stability control system involves a software recalibration of the electronic brake control module that takes around 20 minutes to perform. While they use the same platform, the Chevrolet Volt isn't involved in this recall because it "uses a different a brake control module," said Adler.
