Gorgeous 2 Owner Allante with Only 46,000 Miles! Best Color!!

This week Canyon State Classics brings to market a rare and beautiful 1993 Cadillac. This car is finished in my favorite color combo of Midnight Black over Charcoal leather. The red accent trim and beautiful 17" chrome wheels really make this car POP! 1993 is the final year of production for Allante and the only year to get the upgraded Northstar V8. The bodies of these cars were designed and built by the world-renowned Italian design firm Pininfarina, who are also the designers behind some of Ferrari's greatest models. It was called the Allante Airbridge, as the chassis were built in Detroit, flown by 747 cargo jet to Italy, bodied, then sent back to Detroit for finishing.

This particular Allante is a 2 owner car and has been in Arizona since 2004 and has been well cared for, and always garaged. It is rare to find these with this kind of low mileage because once you drive this car you won't want to get out. Here is your chance to own the Cadillac flagship for a fraction of its original sticker cost!

The list of some of the equipment:

-4.6L Northstar V8 Engine

-Automatic Transmission

-Power Windows

-Power Door Locks

-Power Soft Top

-Premium Sound

-Factory CD Player

-Factory Cassette

-Ice Cold A/C

-Beautiful Leather Interior

The body on the car is in awesome condition and was well maintained. The paint on the car is in great shape and looks as good as the day in rolled of the lot, it is entirely original and is in amazing condition! The wheels are all in like new shape with no peeling or curb damage. The 17" upgraded Good Year Eagle GTs are in very good condition and are brand new. The original 16" wheels will also be included and are in perfect condition. The front bumper does have some minor rock chips, which is to be expected. The convertible top is like new and seals up very well. The top mechanism was recently serviced to compliment the immaculate condition of the fabric itself! Overall the exterior appearance of this car is a 9 out of 10.

The interior is in great shape all around. The leather seats are all in very good condition with no tares or rips and minimal wear to the driver seat for a 22yo car, which shows the quality of leather used in this car. The dash and door panels are also in like new condition. The dash has been covered since new with a clean looking mat and is not hiding anything, just protecting it. The carpets are all very nice and have been professionally cleaned. The floor mats are in nice shape, and are custom embroidered. Also included are the original OEM floor mats, and a nice set of sheepskins that cover the centers of the seats. All dials and controls function, as they should. The sound system is also very nice with the Bose Premium sound and both the CD and Cassette player work great. Overall the interior appearance of the car is a 9 out of 10.

Mechanically, this Allante runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. It drives as good now as the day it rolled of the lot. The eight-cylinder engine is quick and responsive, all while being very fuel-efficient. The climate control system works correct and blows both Ice Cold as well as nice and toasty Warm. The car just received an oil change and a once over by a 25yr Cadillac dealer tech and was given the green light. Car is tight and right with no leaks to speak of. The service history on this car is amazing with over $7000 worth of routine maintenance being completed in the last 10k miles. This car has had full fluid flushes front to back, new A/C compressor, new alternator, all new motor mounts, all new belts and hoses and the list goes on. A brand new Optima Redtop battery was installed 1k miles ago. Don't forget the BRAND NEW Good Year Eagle GT tires mounted on the upgraded 17" Cadillac DTS chrome wheels!

All in all, this is one of the cleanest and nicest Allante's that we have had the privilege of being associated with. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owners. This Cadillac is a fantastic car for the price and includes every option offered in this car. This is your chance to get a highly sought after Italian designed convertible for a fraction of the cost and well below blue book. This little diamond is ready for a new home!! The car has a clean Arizona Title and passed Arizona Emissions testing. Any further questions please call Jon at 480-703-2337. The car is located in Sunny Scottsdale, AZ!

GM may have teased a whole group of electric vehicles

Tue, Jan 12 2021

During GM's big CES press conference, the automaker highlighted a number of its upcoming electric car-related projects from delivery vans to the upcoming flagship Cadillac Celestiq. In the middle of it all, a collection of mystery cars sat in the background behind speakers. They were in the dark, lit only with their running lights, and while it's possible they're just generic filler cars or concepts, we think they could be future products. Our best shot of the cars together is shown above, and we can pretty easily identify three of the vehicles. In the center is obviously the GMC Hummer EV. On either side of it are Cadillacs. To the left seems to be the Lyriq crossover, and to the right is the Celestiq sedan. Two of these cars have production dates, and the third has been confirmed for eventual production, just without timing. This is why we think the rest of the cars are upcoming models. The next most easily identified car is on the near right behind the Cadillac Celestiq. It very clearly has a Chevy bowtie illuminated in the running lights. And looking closely, it appears to be a pickup truck. It's difficult to make out anything more than that. The nose does look a bit more rounded and swept back than the brick-like designs of the Silverado truck line. That also squares with what seemed to be the upcoming truck that appeared in the background of yet another GM presentation. GM previously said this electric Chevy truck will be a full-size model with up to 400 miles of range. That leaves us with three more mysterious models. Over to the left behind the Cadillac Lyriq are what appear to be a pair of crossovers. The one on the far left looks low, curvy, and possibly with a fastback roof. The one on the right is taller, boxier, and probably more of a full-size people hauler. It's hard to say much more beyond that. They could be new electric Buicks, which would fit in nicely with that brand's crossover portfolio, and would likely be highly successful in China, where Buicks, crossovers and electric cars are all rather hot commodities. As for the mystery car on the far right, it's quite a puzzle. We can at least rule out Buick and Cadillac, and GMC since it's definitely a car, and a rather small one compared with the other cars on display. That leaves Chevy, and possibly the autonomous division Cruise. We're leaning toward it being a Chevy, since the first Cruise vehicle is going to be a boxy pod of sorts.

Cadillac Lyriq electric crossover reveal date announced

Thu, Jun 25 2020

The Cadillac Lyriq will be the company's first fully electric car, and it was due to be shown back in April. Then the coronavirus pandemic happened and screwed everything up. But now we have a new reveal date for the Lyriq: August 6, 2020.    The date comes to us via a teaser video. It showcases a variety of high-tech Cadillac features over the decades from electric start to OLED instrument displays. But it also occasionally drops a shot of the Lyriq itself. One shot shows part of the grille, which is solid with many LED light strakes. We also see the door panel with beautiful wood trim and inlaid LED patterns. Autoblog Green editor John Snyder has already seen the Lyriq at GM's electric vehicle summit. He noted that it has 22-inch wheels, tall taillights, and a 34-inch instrument and infotainment display spanning the width of the dashboard.

2020 Cadillac CT6-V First Drive | A new kind of V

Mon, Aug 5 2019

One of the weird tidbits of car news in the past year was the change in naming for the 2020 Cadillac CT6-V. When it was first revealed, it was called V-Sport, the term previously used for Cadillacs with more moderate performance upgrades than the full-blown V cars that possessed massive power outputs and serious track-going capabilities. But then, before the car in question went on sale, Cadillac changed the name to match the equally moderately sporty CT4-V and CT5-V that officially downgraded the V name. So what should we make of this CT6-V, then? Is it a hardcore performance machine like the old V cars? Or is it what we’re expecting of the new V cars: a lightly upgraded version of the base car that isnÂ’t particularly distinguished? As it turns out, the CT6-V sits between these two extremes to create a car thatÂ’s involving and exciting for the driver without compromising the CT6Â’s refinement and luxury. Mechanically, the CT6-V is ultimately closer to its full-bore V predecessors. The highlight is the “Blackwing” twin-turbocharged 4.2-liter V8 that makes 550 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. Besides giving the engine prodigious output, Cadillac borrowed some pages from the AMG handbook: the turbocharger is nestled in between the cylinder heads, just like the current 4.0-liter AMG V8, and each engine is hand-built start to finish by one of six engine builders. The builderÂ’s name is even featured in the engine bay. TheyÂ’re special details that fit the idea of the old V cars, but the fact that a version of the same engine is in the Platinum CT6 does make its inclusion in the CT6-V seem less special, even if its output is notably less at 500 horsepower and 574 pound-feet of torque. Setting aside the details, the engine performs well in the real world. ItÂ’s astonishingly smooth, exactly what you want from a fast flagship. It also emits a unique exhaust note thatÂ’s both raspy and growly. You wonÂ’t mistake it for a pushrod powerplant. The power and torque provide a prominent push at all points in the rev band after a brief moment for the turbos to spool up. ItÂ’s just a shame there isnÂ’t much of a rev band, as the engine redlines at 6,000 rpm, which is easy to hit thanks to the engineÂ’s creamy character. ItÂ’s so low one wonders why Cadillac bothered developing a double-overhead-cam engine at all. The V8 is coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The 10-speed is perfectly fine when cruising around town.
