Tampa, Florida, United States

Up for auction is a two owner Cadillac Allante.

1993 Cadillac Allante, last year of production, only year with Northstar Engine.   Cadillac built the Allante from 1987 thru 1993 and the last and final year is the only year with the North Star Engine, front wheel drive and tons of power.   This is a two seater vehicle and it is all engine!   Very powerful.

This Allante was originally a Califonia Car, then was purchased in 2008 by second owner in Utah.   It has 66,700 miles and everything on this vehicle works perfectly with no engine problems, no messages.  I have owned ten Allantes over the years and this one is nicest.  It has trouble free Analog display.  New brake pads, no fault messages, no lights on.  Runs and drives perfect.  Oil just changed, AC blows perfectly Ice Cold.   I bought this vehicle for my collection to customize but now I am moving and some cars have to go.  This car has a new factory correct Fire Mist Red Metalic paint job for $4200.00.  Brand new leather on seats with no wear, brand new tan correct carpet.   I have ordered a new rear window rubber strip from Allante Source and it will be installed perior to sale.   Vehicle comes with service manuals, and an extra window motor that was in the trunk when I bought it.   This vehicle is In excellent condition in and out.  No disappointments, feel free to have it inspected prior if you like or if you need more pictures I will send.

Has the original convertible top and headliner, some weatherstripping dried on convertible top but no leaks anywhere.  I have been trying to find new weather strip kit but not been able to find yet.  Only wear is some sunfading on the dash and I bought a dash pad to cover. Tires are all like new Vogue tires and Cadillac chrome rims are in excellent condition with no wear.   Exterior is like factory new.  No dings, dents or scratches.  All emblems like new.   Interior smells and looks new.   The in dash CD does not work, they cost about $400 to send out and refix and not worth it.  Casette works fine, all functions and features work perfectly.  I added s Pioneer LCD Screen with rear camera, new speakers and CD/DVD system.

You will never find an Allante with all this in this condition for this price.  Please ask any questions by email.

2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe priced from $37,995*

Thu, 15 May 2014

Cadillac has released pricing details on its new-for-2014 ATS Coupe. The new model, which will be available with buyer's choice of a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.6-liter V6 (the ATS Sedan's base 2.5 won't be making the trip) can be had with optional all-wheel-drive in place of the standard rear-wheel setup, while customers can also snag a six-speed manual or six-speed auto.
Prices start at $37,995, which represents a $2,900 premium over the 2014 ATS Sedan (pricing on the 2015 four-door isn't available yet) with the same 2.0-liter engine. Still, the ATS Coupe starts at just over $2,500 less than a base BMW 428i, which is also less powerful and offers less standard equipment. The Caddy is also less costly than the Mercedes-Benz C250 Coupe, although only by about $200. It's even cheaper than the Audi A5, which starts at $38,105, but that model includes all-wheel drive as standard. It should be noted that these prices are without their respective destination charges (*$995 for the Caddy, $925 each for the BMW and the Mercedes and $895 for the Audi).
Unfortunately, Cadillac hasn't released any additional pricing information beyond what we have here, so we can't tell you how much things like all-wheel drive, an automatic transmission or the 321-horsepower V6 will cost. That makes it difficult to figure out just how reasonable the ATS Coupe will be relative to its challengers, but so far, the value equation looks to be in the car's favor. When those full details roll in, though, you know where to look. Scroll down for the official press release from Cadillac.

2015 Cadillac ATS sedan gets early reveal in making-of video

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

Cadillac is apparently preparing to roll out a minor facelift for the ATS sedan - which we know not because General Motors has already revealed it or because we're looking at it in a fresh batch of spy shots (though we've seen that too), but because a behind-the-scenes video from the filming of its commercial has leaked out online. Which may be bad news for Cadillac, and even worse news for the film production company, but good news for us, because we get to see it ahead of schedule.
The revised sports sedan seems to be sporting a new front bumper and less egg-cratey grille with Caddy's new wreath-less badge at its center, all apparently put in place to bring the sedan more in line with the new ATS coupe.
We're sure Cadillac will be revealing the updated 2015 ATS sedan shortly, but you can scope it out right now in the video below. By way of comparison, we've included an image gallery of the current ATS, released back in 2013, as well.

2014 Cadillac XTS Vsport

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Not long after bombing around the Milford Road Course in the new CTS Vsport, Cadillac invited me to try out its other new-for-2014 Vsport model: the XTS. And despite using the same twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 from the CTS, the Vsport package takes on a whole new meaning here in Cadillac's softer flagship.
In the CTS, this trim perfectly bridges the gap between the standard models and the hardcore CTS-V, and is focused on being the best-driving version of the range without a standalone V badge. The XTS, however, has no proper V model, so the Vsport becomes the new range-topper for that line by default. But unlike the CTS Vsport, which uses rear-wheel-drive architecture and is focused on driving dynamics above all, the XTS is geared toward a much different customer.
The entire XTS experience is far more concerned with plush comfort than handling prowess, and while this Vsport model certainly ups the ante with more power and some mild suspension and steering tweaks, it's not exactly what we'd call a particularly engaging experience. But that doesn't mean it isn't good.
