1993 Cadillac Allante with the Northstar motor. Bright red color, with good neutral interior. Mileage only 76628. Vehicle starts right up, runs good and has plenty of power. Electric locks, mirrors, lights, seats all work. Both tops are included, with roll-around top rack. (see photos) Factory service manual is included, along with original owner's manual. A car cover is included. Radio does not power up, but is complete with CD, automatic antenna, and tape player - probably power on switch needs to be cleaned. Small parking ding in passenger door. Dash vinyl is lifted at edges. Muffler was replaced with stainless steel one. A/C works well and was renovated in 2013. Water pump replaced 2013. Battery replaced 2012. I have owned this car for 8 years, but a Corvette stole my heart away so it is time for another good home.

Cadillac mulling CTS Coupe successor after all
Thu, 04 Apr 2013The 2014 Cadillac CTS made a big splash last week at the New York Auto Show, but now that we've seen the sedan, we can start to wonder about whether coupe and wagon versions are in the cards. According to Edmunds, Cadillac is at least considering bringing back the CTS Coupe for a second generation, which seems like an even better chance since the brand's global marketing director, Jim Vurpillat, was quoted as saying that the car was the top-selling luxury coupe in the industry.
Of course, this goes against reports we heard last year that Caddy's coupe and wagon would live on just not under the CTS name, but the interview with Vurpillat has us hopeful for a next-generation CTS Coupe. If it does come to fruition, we would expect the new two-door to have a largely unique exterior design like the current CTS Coupe, to echo that of intended rivals like the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and even the high-dollar BMW 6 Series.
Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Firmly on the comeback trail in the US, Cadillac is still trying to get out of the starting blocks in Europe. At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.
