ALLANT?

59,500 Original Miles

This 1990.5 Black Allant? with Charcoal Interior is absolutely perfect in every way.  I have been dealing exclusively with Allant?s for 14 years and this is a Great Car!  I bought this “Rust Free” California car from a corporate Executive in Escondido, California.  It has 59,500 well-maintained, adult-driven, miles on it.  It has original Allante chrome wheels with brand new GoodYear Eagle Sport radials.  Mechanically this car is 100% and has plenty of documentation , in a three ring binder, to back it up.  Every single thing works perfectly and the Air Conditioning blows very cold.  The convertible top is in excellent condition.  There is not one door ding on the flawless brand new two-stage original color black paint on this car.  This is a rare color combination as only 392 black Allantes were built in 1990.  I am the president of the Allant? Club of America and see hundreds of Allantes a year.  This is one of the finest cars, with this few miles that I have ever seen!  It comes with a cup holder that I sell on my website, www.allantestore.com , to fit these cars.  This is one sexy little Allante.  This Allante does not come with a hardtop.

The discerning buyer knows that the 1990.5 Allantes have the updated convertible top mechanism that ran through the 1993 model year.  This improvement means a much more enjoyable time putting your top up and down.

This car is show ready!

These cars, with their small V-8 engine, get about 18 mpg around town and 25 mpg on the highway.  This car runs great on regular gasoline!

Feel free to call and discuss any of you Allant? questions and needs.

Cadillac launching crossover-heavy product offensive

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

Utilizing information provided by Cadillac suppliers, Reuters says that Cadillac is preparing two more crossovers that will bow after its current product initiative is complete. According to the report, a year after the next SRX arrives in 2016, a pair of CUVs will be unveiled that will bracket it in size, and they'll be headed for the US and Chinese markets.
That is years away, though. For now, the company's attentions are on the nearly here CTS and ELR range-extended coupe, the next Escalade SUV (shown above), an ATS coupe, and the range-topper that will sit above the XTS. That, and possibly an even more impressive range-topper that promises to be the mean and majestic super-luxe unicorn Cadillac we've been dreaming about for more than a decade now.
In response to the issue of how German crossovers might be having an impact on Cadillac's future plans, a company source said - rightly, we think - "we don't need to duplicate the Germans." That doesn't mean, however, that it can't wade deeper into a market segment that the Germans are making a ton of money in. In fact, and since everyone is doing it, we'd be surprised if Cadillac didn't, even if it won't happen for another four years.

Cadillac scraps three-row CUV plans

Fri, 23 May 2014

Crossovers are one of the hottest automotive segments on the planet. Apparently, the idea of mixing the practicality of a station wagon with the looks of an SUV appeals to people whether they are in Cleveland or Shanghai because nearly every automaker is jumping into the market. So it was no surprise when early rumors suggested Cadillac was planning two, new CUVs to fit above and below the SRX. But things might have changed since then.
New rumblings indicate Caddy is taking a different route. Instead of two crossovers, only the compact is on the way, and the larger, three-row CUV on the Lambda platform to sit between the SRX and Escalade may be a goner. According to Ward's Auto, General Motors thinks that the other three-row, Lambda vehicles like the Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia compete too closely with the proposed Cadillac. The decision comes fairly close to the 2017 intended production date.
As far back as 2010, this Lambda-platform based CUV was considered highly likely for production. However, Cadillac Senior Vice President Bob Ferguson was somewhat cooler about it when he discussed the new crossover briefly last year. He said the model could use the Escalade name, despite its unibody chassis, but no decision had been made yet to actually produce it.
