This car is in great condition for it's age, inside and out. My husband bought it from an elderly gentleman who kept in in the garage. It is becoming rare to find an original car of this age that is in this good of condition, running, low miles, not rusted out, no under carriage rust. The vinyl roof is also in great condition. He tried to take pictures of all angles for you. There are 2 small cracks in the dash, that are not visible in the pictures. All four tires are new. They were just put on 2 months ago. My husband let my son take it to college in IL in January and he has been driving it. He got a new job and will be driving a good distance to work and back. He does not want to put the miles on this old beauty. He wanted to keep it, but needs the cash for college and to put towards a different car to drive to work. Buick might be getting a logo makeover
Fri, 23 Nov 2012General Motors has finished off an extensive model overhaul for its Buick division, but along with its updated cars, the brand might also be getting a new logo. According to the Detroit Free Press, GM North America President Mark Reuss indicated that the Buick tri-shield logo could be getting a makeover, but offered no further information.
It is unlikely Buick will completely redesign or replace its current logo, but the article seems to indicate that it might return to color; although all chrome now, the logo used to feature red, white and blue shields. GM recalls 51k Enclave, Traverse, Acadia crossovers over fuel gauge inaccuracy
Mon, 05 May 2014With all eyes fixed on General Motors in the wake of the ignition recall debacle, the auto giant has been carefully calling in a wide array of vehicles to fix anything and everything that could prove problematic. Just the other day it issued two separate recalls - one concerning the Cadillac SRX and another its heavy-duty pickups - and now it is issuing another.
This time the vehicles in question are the Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, three fullsize crossovers based on GM's Lambda platform. In an estimated 51,640 units manufactured between March 26 and August 15, 2013, the engine control module has been found to incorrectly display the level of fuel in the tank.
As a result, owners are being notified to bring their vehicles in to their local dealers to have the ECU reflashed to fix the problem. View the full details in the announcement below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Buick Envision crossover to premiere in China
Tue, 01 Jul 2014Buick currently offers two crossovers: the compact Encore and the extra-large Enclave, leaving plenty of room to slot a mid-size crossover in between. And that's just what Buick is planning on doing. In China, anyway.
Previewed in the teaser above, Buick's upcoming new crossover is cloaked and nestled in between its aforementioned stablemates-to-be. Set to be unveiled in China sometime later this year, the model has been confirmed to wear the name Envision - at least in that market. That's the name which the concept version wore three years ago, but we're still waiting on word over whether that name will carry over to the US version or whether we should expect something different like Anthem. But we have to admit that Envision fits better in the brand's crossover naming scheme.
Shanghai GM isn't saying much about the Envision in the press release below, aside from it having "dynamic and assertive styling" backed by all-wheel drive and stop/start ignition. The last time Buick offered a mid-size crossover in North America was with the Pontiac Aztek-based Rendezvous that was discontinued seven years ago.
