1964 Buick Skylark Convertible on 2040-cars
Dundee, New York, United States
I am selling my 1964 Buick Skylark convertible. This is in extremely great original condition with matching numbers. The body is straight and original rust free condition. Mechanically it is like new. The engine runs perfectly, does not smoke or have any bad habits. The engine bay is highly detailed. The transmission shifts perfectly. Original 300 engine, 2-speed power glide automatic trans, power steering, power brakes, and spare tire kit. When you look down the side of the car it's straight with good lines. This car had a repaint at some point and was changed from white to red. The paint is excellent and the front fenders were removed and all jams were painted correctly. When you look at the bumpers and other chrome and stainless looks excellent. All the weather stripping is good. The glass is good with side windows being original factory. It has the correct interior in excellent condition with new carpet installed. All gauges, switches, window regulators, wipers, lights, turn signals, back-up light and AM radio work perfectly. Tho power driven top goes down and up without a hitch. Please contact me if you have any questions and I'm pleased to show the car to anyone who wishes to view, drive and inspect it. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Car is sold as is condition, and the winning bidder responsible for pick-up and shipping. I will be glade to assist in pick-up if transporter is sent. 2,000.00 dollar deposit due at auction end with in 48 hours. Balance due in 7 days. phone 315-729-3625 Thanks

2013 Opel Cascada
Tue, 24 Sep 2013The Future Buick Verano Convertible?
I wasn't wearing a pedometer while in Germany covering the Frankfurt Motor Show this year, but it's safe to say I walked more than a few miles between press conferences, shooting cars and trekking back to the media center on the first day alone. For this reason, it didn't take much convincing from General Motors for me to duck out of the Messe a day early and drive some of its latest Opel models. No, this didn't include the all-new Country Tourer, but I was able to drive the Opel Mokka (our Buick Encore), the Opel Adam and the Opel Cascada.
I focused most of my driving time behind the wheel of the Cascada, which went on sale in Europe earlier this year, since rumors are swirling that a Buick version of this convertible "could happen soon." Buick hasn't had a convertible since the Reatta, and GM has been lacking a non-performance, budget-minded convertible since the Pontiac brand - and its G6 - was dropped, so adding the Cascada to Buick showrooms could further help the reemerging brand compete in the near-luxury segment. Although the weather was too chilly (and occasionally rainy) to enjoy the Cascada with its top down for very long, I was able to clock a fair bit of drive time behind the wheel on roads ranging from the autobahn to tight roads in small, quaint villages.
2013 Buick Encore

We admit it. We have no earthly idea how this whole thing is going to shake out.
Typically, after driving a new car or truck, we come away prepared to hazard a guess as to whether said model has a good chance of being a sales success. We've amassed enough time watching the industry, scrutinizing the competitors, and so on, to make a reasonably educated bet. Yet here we are, days removed from driving the new 2013 Buick Encore, and we still have no bloody idea.
Cadillac, Buick and Chevy decisions impacted by worries abroad
Fri, 05 Jul 2013European Concerns Drive GM, But Beware Of The French Connection
GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.
