For sale 1995 Buick Road Master Wagon, LT1 engine: New paint, windshield, shocks, tires, master cylinder, rotors, pads, plugs, plug wires, rotor cap, belts, hoses, water pump, tie rod ends, idler arm, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets, rear end and whatever the mechanic said it possibly needed. I spared no expense getting this car ready to drive anywhere any time. Starts, runs, shifts, drives excellent blows ice cold air. I was going to put in a new stereo with nav. It could also use carpet and a head liner at some point but not really necessary for a while. It will need an exhaust and the small plastic pieces that connect the window glass to the power window mechanism. The windows go up and down but need that piece to keep them level.. The place that put in the new windshield said they can do that. The car now it has 76,000 miles on it. I was getting this car to be a long term keeper, I love the big, powerful smooth ride this car delivers. I have 3 other cars and am moving to a big city and just have nowhere to park. Buick picks top 11 highlights from first 11 decades
Sun, 21 Apr 2013Buick has taken the time to highlight some of the company's personal points of pride from the past 110 years. Those include everything from the automaker's very first vehicle, the 1904 Model B, to what Buick claims is the world's first concept car: The 1938 Y Job (above). That one also walked away with the worst name for a design study.
All told, the automaker has sold 43 million vehicles through the end of last year, and those include the lusty 1963 Riviera. That model celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2013, and remains one of the brand's most iconic designs.
Of course, Buick is rightfully proud of its quickest model, too. The 1987 GNX managed a 4.6-second bolt to 60 mph in tests by Car and Driver, and it also took the honor of being one of the automaker's rarest creations at just 547 units. You can check out all 10 in the gallery above.
Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected
