I have for sale a 1994 Buick Roadmaster estate wagon with the powerful LT1 motor, Car is unique and gets allot of attention at car shows and meets the ultimate cruiser this car is great for road trips or just cruising around town. Cold AC cruise fully loaded its cruising in style and comfort. I hate to part with it but a new project has taken all of my attention and i literally do not have the time to drive the wagon anymore.
I had a custom dual exhaust done at the muffler shop it has a throaty performance sound but isn't obnoxious with tasteful chrome tips. The air ride shocks were removed and new shocks placed all around they had a tendency to leak down. We also added a set of police steel wheels with 60's all the way around give it a nice stance that looks great. A cold air intake was added to eliminate the home plate air cleaner but is included with the car if you want to return it to stock. Car has been well maintained, I have the original alarm remotes and full size spare. Car has the jump seat in the back and is really cool to ride in the back for kids. Also the wagon has the two way tailgate. I had the wood all removed professionally by a local body shop and the frill was painted black which gives this wagon a really unique look while maintaining the stock appearance, the rear of the car is professionally tinted but is completely legal. GM laying off 510 amidst slow Cadillac, small car sales
Wed, 12 Nov 2014General Motors is laying off about 510 workers from two factories beginning in January, and it could be months before the automaker needs some of that latent capacity to come back on line. A combination of poor sales and high dealer inventories are prompting the cutbacks, according to Automotive News.
The largest changes come at GM's Lansing Grand River plant, where the Cadillac ATS and CTS are made. An entire shift of about 350 workers is being laid off, but the automaker hopes to find positions for some of them at other nearby factories. The decision leaves just a single shift building vehicles there. According to Automotive News, the move is partially spurred by Johan de Nysschen's plan to make Cadillac a more exclusive brand.
The lost shift will likely return for production of the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro at the plant, according to the report, but GM isn't saying when that will be. A previous announcement from the Canadian Auto Workers union indicated that the Oshawa, Ontario, factory would lose the coupe in late 2015 or early 2016.
Buick Envision to go on sale in third quarter of 2015
Mon, 06 Oct 2014Following an earlier concept and successive teasers, Buick revealed the new Envision crossover a little over a month ago. The thing is, it was launched in China, for China. The question, then, is whether it will make the jump to the North American market. And the answer is: quite possibly.
According to division sales chief Duncan Aldred in speaking to Edmunds, Buick is looking into the prospect of bringing the Envision to the US: "We can't confirm anything, but clearly it is a very nicely designed and executed product that is very much a Buick," said Aldred.
If and when the compact crossover would appear in US showrooms, it would slot in between the smaller Encore and the larger Enclave. It would likely be offered in front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and mild hybrid configurations. Sources expect it to arrive in the third quarter of 2015 as a competitor to the likes of the Mercedes GLA, Lexus NX and Lincoln MKC.
GM to offer 2 years free maintance on most 2014 models
Thu, 06 Jun 2013A day after Ford announced it was scaling back the complimentary maintenance program for its Lincoln brand, General Motors has gone in the completely opposite direction, offering most of its 2014 lineup with free maintenance. Since 2011, Cadillac models have all come with a four-year/50,000-mile complimentary maintenance program, but Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles will now come standard with free maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles for the 2014 model year.
The program will give vehicle owners and lessees free oil changes, tire rotations and 27-point inspections following the recommended maintenance schedule laid out in each vehicle's owner's manual. We contacted GM to see which vehicles were eligible for the program, and a spokesperson got back to us with the following comment:
"All 2014 models are eligible, it's just that the included services vary by model, e.g., Spark EV would not need oil changes, Corvettes don't recommend tire rotations."
