I took this in on a trade.

1991 Buick Riviera

Car runs and drives great.

Great tires. Runs and shifts fine with no issuses.

NO RUST. Clean exterior.

Interior shows some signs of wear. Door handles and seats. It does have seat covers. The seats aren't tore, Just cracked. Thats normal with leather seats.

Has the 3.8L V6 with only 116,000 miles.

This is considered low miles for it's year.

It is missing one hub cap(Right-Rear). The landuea top is all there, But is cracked from being weathered.

I have 2 known problems;

1) When it sits for a couple days or more the battery is dead. Not sure if its a bad battery or something is draining it. I charge it and its good.

2) The driver's side window doesn't work. Not sure if it's the switch or the window motor. Never looked into it.

All other power options work as they should, Including the DIGITAL DASH which is very rare.

Please call me at 330-240-2412 with any additional questions.

This is for local pick up or I WILL SHIP IT AT YOURT COST.

Thanks for looking and good luck.

Buick asks design students 'What could a Buick sedan look like in 2030?'

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

When you think of daring concept cars or emotional design-student projects, Buick probably isn't the first brand that comes to mind. It's not for lack of concepts; when General Motors ran down 11 concept-car highlights from Buick's 110-year history, three of them are from the past 15 years, with other experiments in that same timeframe like the Black Hawk, Centieme and Cielo left unmentioned.
But the company still thinks about them even if we don't. It ran a contest for students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies to create a Buick for the year 2030 that would incorporate future materials and transportation needs, and nanotechnology.
Best exterior design went to Sam Kenny for his Neo Classical Buick, Justin Salmon took honors for innovative material use, like having exposed algae on the bodyshell to generate energy, and Namsuk Lee nabbed best overall concept and best interior for his Buick Vision Sedan. You can read more about the design challenge and winners in the press release, and hear students talk about what went into the work in the video below.

GM recalls 51k Enclave, Traverse, Acadia crossovers over fuel gauge inaccuracy

Mon, 05 May 2014

With all eyes fixed on General Motors in the wake of the ignition recall debacle, the auto giant has been carefully calling in a wide array of vehicles to fix anything and everything that could prove problematic. Just the other day it issued two separate recalls - one concerning the Cadillac SRX and another its heavy-duty pickups - and now it is issuing another.
This time the vehicles in question are the Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, three fullsize crossovers based on GM's Lambda platform. In an estimated 51,640 units manufactured between March 26 and August 15, 2013, the engine control module has been found to incorrectly display the level of fuel in the tank.
As a result, owners are being notified to bring their vehicles in to their local dealers to have the ECU reflashed to fix the problem. View the full details in the announcement below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

First 2013 Buick Encore TV ad features... dinosaurs

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

The whole "SUVs as dinosaurs" trope has become something of a threadbare cliché among auto writers, but that doesn't mean the wider world of consumers has caught on to the Jurassic nature of our line of thinking. That's what General Motors appears to be betting on, at least. Just check out Buick's first television spot for its 2013 Encore, the tiny crossover that is pushing the Tri-Shield into territories unknown while looking to outrun the brand's reputation as a refuge for elderly clientele.
Set to air this weekend on ESPN during the NCAA college basketball tournament, the ad plays up the Encore's maneuverability and surprising interior space by setting the baby Buick amongst a herd of lumbering CG dinosaurs created by Tippett Studio, the folks behind Hollywood blockbusters like Jurassic Park, Ted, and the Twilight series of films.
We can't help but snigger a little - while the Encore is indeed surprisingly roomy, nimble, and composed, our first drive found it to be glacially slow, too... not unlike a certain prehistoric race of animals. Check out the commercial below and judge for yourself.
