I am selling my beautiful 1967 Buick riviera in really nice condition. It has a 430ci engine with a rebuilt quadra-jet carb. And it runs so beautifully! The car has been my daily driver for the last 6 months and I am feeling guilty every time I see the odometer tick another mile. She is such a clean fantastic example of a well kept classic car. The pictures speak for themselves however a quick rundown of the new parts I have installed. Brand new tires, all new air conditioning system updated to run R134a and it is FREEZING cold! Rebuilt or replaced the entire brake system. New radiator, A/C condensor, filter dryer, compressor, poa valve. The carpet is new. And I added a small CD player under the dash so I could leave the dash un-cut and original looking. All the mechanical features on this car are functional including the dash clock, headlight motor and power antenna! The car drives like a dream and I get compliments everyday. This morning on my way into work the kid at starbucks gave me my coffee free because he liked the car so much. I get notes on the windshield weekly complimenting the car. And the color is by far I believe the best color from that era. The interior is in very high quality "driver" condition and the paint is probably an 8 on a 10 scale because there are some bubbles popping up here and there around the tail light panel but it is a 46 year old car! The bumpers have no rust! That alone is incredibly rare! The floors are original and clean with no rust and the trunk is the same! I have rarely seen one on the road and NEVER seen one in this condition. I need something more economical than a big block buick as my daily driver but honestly I want to see this car go to a good home. I have nearly $12k invested in this car and hate to let go of it, but I know it will make somebody a great car. The reserve is several thousand below what I have into it. Again, not perfect but certainly beautiful! If it doesnt meet reserve I will just keep it and fully restore the exterior.

GM recalls 51k Enclave, Traverse, Acadia crossovers over fuel gauge inaccuracy
Mon, 05 May 2014With all eyes fixed on General Motors in the wake of the ignition recall debacle, the auto giant has been carefully calling in a wide array of vehicles to fix anything and everything that could prove problematic. Just the other day it issued two separate recalls - one concerning the Cadillac SRX and another its heavy-duty pickups - and now it is issuing another.
This time the vehicles in question are the Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, three fullsize crossovers based on GM's Lambda platform. In an estimated 51,640 units manufactured between March 26 and August 15, 2013, the engine control module has been found to incorrectly display the level of fuel in the tank.
As a result, owners are being notified to bring their vehicles in to their local dealers to have the ECU reflashed to fix the problem. View the full details in the announcement below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
2013 Buick Enclave
Mon, 29 Oct 2012GM's Flagship Lambda Is (Still) A Smooth Operator
Consumers shopping for a domestic full-size crossover have heard all about GM's triplets. The Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave are a very appealing and talented group of siblings. Entering their fifth year of production, albeit middle-age in the automotive industry, each is attractive, well-rounded and very capable on the paved dance floor. While all share nearly identical base DNA and the same basic running gear, subtle physical differences and unique personalities emerge between the trio when one digs a bit deeper.
The most polished of the threesome, without question, is the Enclave from Buick. Fresh off a mid-cycle update (as are its siblings), the flagship of the platform boasts a facelift, innovative new features and an upgraded demeanor for the new model year.
2014 Buick Regal GS
Mon, 09 Sep 2013A few months ago I drove the 2014 Buick LaCrosse and wrote up a First Drive review of it. For all of my quibbles with that sedan (and I had a fair number), I understand that it speaks to the heart of what new Buick loyalists like in a car; it's roomy, has a cushy ride and is as placid as a summer's morning at highway speeds.
Those qualities, while undeniably desirable, don't mean a whole lot to me personally. I prefer sedans that conjure up words like "nimble," "punchy" or even "raucous" on occasion. So, directionally, the high-performance GS version of the 2014 Buick Regal is more my cup of tea than any other car in the company's current range.
In fact, I'd already come to know the Regal GS from its 2012 model year introduction, and grown more than a little fond of the sporting sedan in its original front-wheel-drive, six-speed-manual guise. The fast, sweet-handling car with well-sorted controls may have suffered from a slight identity crisis in terms of pricing (and may still), but it was undeniably fun to drive. So, when I heard that the GS was coming to market for 2014 with optional all-wheel drive (albeit only in combination with a six-speed automatic transmission), I was stoked to have another go and concentrated my driving impressions on the AWD car.
