For sale is my 1963 Buick Riveria 401/V8 motor, stock 3 speed automatic transmission. Factory options include: p/s, p/b, p/w, power trunk release, factory a/c, AM Wonder Bar radio, power antenna and 4-note horn. As you can see, this car is in great condition. I drive her 3-4 days per week, she is truly a beautiful and sound car. I recently added the 20" wheels with low profile tires that just add to its beauty.I do still have the stock rims, tires and hubcaps that will also be sold with the car. I've added an RPM, Temperature and oil pressure gauge which fit in the car nicely and only compliment the factory interior. The interior was replaced in 2004 with matching factory interior. If you're in the market for a Riveria of this year, you're not going to find one in this condition for less than 25K. It turns heads and gets compliments everywhere I go. I hate to part with this gem but my loss is your gain. Bid with confidence, I am a retired California Peace Officer and don't play games. Ask any and all questions, I will respond promptly! Also note, I do have the car listed locally and will end this auction early if a qualified offer is received. I have a good shipping broker that I've used before and will provide that information to the buyer, however the buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. The car is currently registered here in the state of California and I have the Title free and clear. The buyer will be responsible for all taxes and fees associated with registering the car in their name. Once again thank you and bid with confidence. Lastly, my Reserve price is lower than my Buy It Now price.

Buick Envision to go on sale in third quarter of 2015

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

Following an earlier concept and successive teasers, Buick revealed the new Envision crossover a little over a month ago. The thing is, it was launched in China, for China. The question, then, is whether it will make the jump to the North American market. And the answer is: quite possibly.
According to division sales chief Duncan Aldred in speaking to Edmunds, Buick is looking into the prospect of bringing the Envision to the US: "We can't confirm anything, but clearly it is a very nicely designed and executed product that is very much a Buick," said Aldred.
If and when the compact crossover would appear in US showrooms, it would slot in between the smaller Encore and the larger Enclave. It would likely be offered in front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and mild hybrid configurations. Sources expect it to arrive in the third quarter of 2015 as a competitor to the likes of the Mercedes GLA, Lexus NX and Lincoln MKC.

GM again delays plant that will build the Silverado EV

Tue, Jul 23 2024

General Motors Co. will again push back the planned opening of an electric pickup truck plant in suburban Detroit and has delayed a Buick plug-in amid uncertain growth in battery-powered car sales. Mary Barra, the company’s chief executive officer, told analysts Tuesday on an earnings conference call the automaker is postponing until mid-2026 the opening of its Orion Assembly factory, which will make the Chevrolet Silverado EV. This is the second delay for the plant, which was originally slated to start production in late 2024. Shares of the automaker fell 4.1% to $47.52 as of 9:39 a.m. in New York. The stock is up about 32% so far this year. The delay is a main reason why GM wonÂ’t be able to meet its previous goal of having production in place to make 1 million EVs by the end of next year. The company said they will add production as buyers show more interest in electric vehicles. “We continue to make sure we continue to scale the business to customers and where they are at,” GM Chief Financial Officer Paul Jacobson said on a call with reporters. GM reported on Tuesday a 60% jump in second quarter profit compared with a year ago, topping Wall StreetÂ’s expectations on strong demand for its traditional gas-powered trucks in the US market.
