We bought this vehicle in April of this year. It had 78,000+ miles on it and was in Florida. We bought it, shipped it to Denver, CO and when I visited family there I tried to drive it home. 90 miles into the drive it began to overheat. Long story short, the head gasket had failed and cost me $1400 to repair. While the headgasket was being replaced I had the mechanics install a new water pump, thermostat, and of course new plugs and wires and oil service. It runs like a top. I have since driven to Miles City, MT and to Denver, CO and back. I think total we have close to 4,000 miles since repair. On the open hwy it gets around 24mpg and around town 20mpg. The ONLY PROBLEM we have had is the TPMS states a tire pressure is low. I stop, check with a tire guage and nothing is different. The car has a very simple reset for the faulty reading and it hasn't happened now for going on 3 weeks. Hate to sell it but we have to as we are to tight on our financial budget. With the sale money I will be buying a clunker for me.
Any questions please ask!
This vehicle comes with no warranty expressed or implied BUT I am willing to drive it anywhere for .50 a mile with a return airfare to Rapid City, SD or possibly, Denver, CO.

Buick Velite Plug-In Hybrid Concept debuts to little fanfare
Sat, Nov 19 2016Buick pulled the covers off its latest Velite Concept at the Auto Guangzhou 2016 show in China. We say latest because this is actually the second time Buick has used the Velite name for a concept, the previous having been shown at the 2004 New York Auto Show. The first Velite concept was a two-door convertible; the second Velite is a four-door crossover. Enough about the name, what about the concept? Well, it's very highly stylized, and we don't really mean that in a good way. There's nothing about the Velite that screams Buick, except for its badges, of course. At the front is a compressed version of Buick's traditional waterfall-like fascia. It's flanked by slit-like LED lighting elements. The rest of the face looks to our eyes like it draws inspiration from the latest Toyota Prius. There isn't a single flat element to the Velite Concept's bodysides, in a way that resembles recent concepts from Infiniti. The last bit of styling flourish are deep recesses just ahead of the rear wheels, a look that is reminiscent of BMW's i-series of vehicles. There aren't any images showing the Velite's hind quarters, but from what we can see, that also has a QX-ish look about it. There are no shots yet of the Velite's interior, but Buick says it's "elegant" and "includes recycled materials." We wish we could see what it looks like, because the automaker says it "[points] to design trends for upcoming new energy vehicles." So, the Buick Velite Concept is a nondescript mashup of design elements that we've already seen. Under the skin, however, things are more interesting. It's a plug-in hybrid with a modular lithium ion battery. That doesn't tell us much – it could be a variant of the Chevy Volt, or it could be a different system altogether. We look forward to finding out. In the meantime, have a look at the high-res image gallery up above. Oh, and if you're wondering, the word velite traces its roots back to a lightly armored military division in ancient Rome. Related Video:
38k GM eAssist hybrids recalled for circuit board, fire risk
Mon, 06 May 2013General Motors has issued a recall covering 38,197 2012 and 2013 model-year Chevy Malibu Eco, Buick LaCrosse and Regal sedans equipped with eAssist, and sold in the United States. The automaker will check the generator control module for proper operation. Only vehicles built before December 2012 are being recalled.
According to the automaker, a malfunctioning generator control module could slowly drain the battery, causing an indicator to light up in the dash. If that indicator is ignored, the driver may experience a stalling engine, and in some cases, "a burning or melting odor, smoke, and, in rare instances, a fire in the trunk."
GM says the issue is not with the eAssist battery pack; the smoke and fire comes from overheating of the control board. One trunk fire has been reported, but no injuries are known. Scroll down below for the official press release from GM.
