1984 Buick Skyhawk Here is a nice Buick Skyhawk and a car you just don't see everyday. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Look at the Autocheck Score. Make sure and check out the Video below. These are great cars that you just don't see to many of these days. These are very nice little cars. It has the 2.0L 4cyl. engine which is a nice motor that is reliable, has plenty of power, and gets really good gas mileage. This car fires right up and runs, drives, and shifts great. I believe that this is a 1 Owner Car and it shows. Being a 5 digit odometer it is hard to tell for sure but if you look at the Autocheck I really believe that the miles are original at 79K. The car is just to clean and runs to good to have rolled over. The car just cruises down the road and is a very nice driver. Under the hood and undercarriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure to watch the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out and even take if for a test drive. This is a 1 Owner Car that ONLY has 79K Original Miles The exterior of this car is nice but not perfect. It is a bright red in color and the paint has a nice shine to it but it does have some bad spots mainly on the top surfaces. There is a few spots in the paint where the clear coat is peeling but only on the top surfaces. Other then that the car looks great. The body is straight on the car. I would just drive the car like it is but if you really wanted to make it nice this car would look really good with a new paint job. It is missing the factory wheel covers as you can see I am leaving that up to the new owner to decide what they want to put on it. The tires are a mismatch set that should probably be replaced soon. The interior is very nice on the car. It has the light grey leather interior that goes really good with the exterior. The front seats show hardly any wear and look great. The back seats are even nice and barely look like they were ever sat in. The carpets are in good condition but do have some stains. The headliner is missing and I can get that installed for cheap if you would like. It does have Factory A/C but does need a recharge. Check out the video I go through and show you everything working or not. This is just a really nice car that you just don't see anymore. Whether you just drive it around like it is or fix it up and have yourself a really nice car this is the car to have. I took pictures of every detail of this car so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting. GM recalls 2022 Cadillac XT5, XT6 and GMC Acadia for suspension issue
Mon, Jun 27 2022General Motors is recalling a relatively small number of 2022 Cadillac and GMC crossovers to address the potential for missing or loose rear suspension hardware that is being blamed on a lapse in quality control at the company's Spring Hill facility. The campaign covers 223 examples of the Cadillac XT5, 159 examples of the Cadillac XT6 and 354 examples of the GMC Acadia. "General Motors has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in certain 2022 model year Cadillac XT5, XT6, and GMC Acadia vehicles," GM said in its defect report. "A fastener in the left-rear suspension toe link in some of these vehicles may not have been fully tightened during suspension assembly. After an assembly process was moved to a new area, error proofing equipment was not initially set up properly, which allowed a window where the operator might miss tightening certain fasteners without the failure being flagged." The issue was discovered by a quality engineer at the Spring Hill facility in March of this year, at which point GM conducted an audit to determine which and how many vehicles may have left the factory with improperly torqued or missing fasteners, narrowing down the recall population to the above 736 vehicles. J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?

Mark Reuss: GM can't afford product 'misses,' has 'thought about' CT6 V-Series
Thu, Apr 9 2015Mark Reuss is a busy man. He oversees General Motors' global product portfolio, an all-encompassing task for a company that sold more than 9.9 million cars and trucks last year. When GM launches a well-received product, like the road-going rocket ship that is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – he gets credit. When the company stumbles with the slow-selling Chevy Malibu or grapples with fallout from the decade-old Saturn Ion and its flawed ignition switch, he gets blamed. GM owners, the press and sometimes the federal government, demand answers. Bob Lutz famously held the job before Reuss. So did Mary Barra, who's now GM's chief executive. There's a New GM, but the lineage is connected to a long history. When he's not thinking product, Reuss, an executive vice president, also runs the purchasing and supply chain for the company, which is still one of the largest industrial empires in the world. We caught up with Reuss on the floor of the New York Auto Show, where GM had just rolled out two crucial new products: the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Speaking with a small group of reporters, Reuss delved into a variety of subjects, including the new Malibu, Cadillac's future (he thinks the ATS-V is going to "flame the M3 and M4"), and other topics. On fixing the Malibu: "We can't miss. We can't have those kinds of misses [like the previous generation] on our cars and crossovers and trucks. We can't do that. If we do that, we give a reason for someone to go buy something else. It's that simple. "On a car like the Malibu we have a chance to really fix all of that, which we have, and then lead. Then you've got a real opportunity there. So that's what we've really been focused on here – to fix those things." He later added: "We need that car here to transform Chevrolet desperately because it's the heart of the market. And when you think of Chevrolet, people will come back and think about what we did with the [new] Malibu and the Cruze... It's hugely important to us." On Cadillac: "If we go out and try and out-German the Germans, it's probably not going to work. We've got an opportunity here generationally where there's a lot of people younger than me that have parents that drove BMWs and Mercedes, and I think there's an opportunity there for those people to drive something different than what their parents did, and I think that's always been an opportunity in the auto industry if you look at the history of it.
