I am selling my Park Avenue. I bought this car from my brother in law when my sister in law passed away. It was her car and was rarely used the last 2 years she had it. They were the original owners. I kept this car in MS and used it when I went home to visit family. I have owned it for almost 4 years. I havent put 2000 miles on it in that time. Then car is in great shape. Always garaged. No accidents or paint job. There are a few small dings from this or that but almost unnoticable. The paint is in great shape as the photos show. The interior is in great shape as well. Look at the photos of the interior, exterior, trunk, and engine area. You wont find one at this age in better shape. The tires have approx 1000 miles on them. Everything works except the tilt on the drivers seat does not go up or down. The motor works but it needs a gear for the motor. You can get them on ebay for $70 and fix it. Also, about 2 years ago, the digital odometer quit lighting up. The car had just under or just over 100,000 when I bought it but I cannot remember the exact mileage. So, I am selling it with mileage unknown as I cannot prove the exact mileage. You can see from the photos tha the car is above normal condition and hasnt had 2000 miles put on it in the last 4 years. 750 of that was me driving it back to Orlando. Also, the ashtray in the dash will not stay closed. I am sure it is a small fix but want to disclose everything. I have almost 300 transactions with 100% feedback. The car will be exactly as I say it is. Feel free to contact me with any questions. You are welcome to have the car inspected by a mechanic. I welcome it. Opel Cascada close to getting green light for US
Fri, 13 Sep 2013For a company with a long tradition of grand touring convertibles, it's almost unseemly that General Motors doesn't offer a properly relaxed four-seat convertible in North America. There's the Chevrolet Camaro, of course, but it's not big on rear-seat space and it doesn't offer that sort of serene demeanor that many open-air buyers crave. We're thinking of something more refined and, dare we say, elegant. Something a bit closer to the Opel Cascada.
The General's front-wheel drive convertible went on sale in Europe this year, and while it seemed like a natural fit for its Buick brand in America, it's never been sold here. That may be about to change, however. Back in June, CEO Dan Akerson hinted he'd like to see the Cascada available in the US, and now there's word from Edmunds that importation "could happen soon." That's according to an unnamed insider at the company.
It's almost unseemly that GM doesn't offer a relaxed four-seat convertible.
Buick Envision to go on sale in third quarter of 2015
Mon, 06 Oct 2014Following an earlier concept and successive teasers, Buick revealed the new Envision crossover a little over a month ago. The thing is, it was launched in China, for China. The question, then, is whether it will make the jump to the North American market. And the answer is: quite possibly.
According to division sales chief Duncan Aldred in speaking to Edmunds, Buick is looking into the prospect of bringing the Envision to the US: "We can't confirm anything, but clearly it is a very nicely designed and executed product that is very much a Buick," said Aldred.
If and when the compact crossover would appear in US showrooms, it would slot in between the smaller Encore and the larger Enclave. It would likely be offered in front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and mild hybrid configurations. Sources expect it to arrive in the third quarter of 2015 as a competitor to the likes of the Mercedes GLA, Lexus NX and Lincoln MKC.
