Up for auction is my 1969 Buick LeSabre with the original Buick 350 V8 and turbo 400 transmission. It is a factoryA/C car and the compressor still has a belt on it and is not locked up. The a/c works but will need to be charged. I have had this car for almost 20 years and bought it as a teenager from an elderly man in TX that never traded his cars in when he bought a new one. He just parked them in his yard, I have the build sheet and the protect-o-plate given to the original buyer. I don't want to sell it but I have too many projects and need to make room so I have to sell some of my cars. I used this as a daily driver for a few years but has been parked for a while now. Still runs and moves but will need brake work to get back on the road. Also needs floorboard patches on the drivers side. Other than that it is pretty solid. The paint shows it age as well as the interior. Thanks for looking.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards

The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Buick to add more GS models?

Buick may not be the first name that comes to mind when you think of performance automobiles, but fans of the brand know what letters to look for. If you believe the reports, there's a new GNX and Grand National on the way, but in the meantime, Buick may offer more GS models to fill the void.
Currently, the Regal is the only model available as a GS (pictured above), packing the same 259-horsepower turbo four as the Regal Turbo but enhanced with key suspension, brakes and rolling-stock upgrades. As Car and Driver notes, similar upgrades could easily be applied to the Verano and LaCrosse, although maybe not the Encore or Enclave crossovers. Of course, Buick would still have to steer clear of Cadillac's Vsport line, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a little room to play.
