i have an all original 1961 buick electra bubble top,2 door coupe,orig 401ci nail head engine,orig 2 speed power glide transmission..engine and tranmssion were rebuilt in 1990 with about 7000 miles on both since then..
the car is a 1 owner california car from day 1 with no type of rust or rust repairs,all panels are original...the car has been garaged all its life and driven only on special occassions and weekends..the car was repainted its original color in 2013 and is in excellent condition with no dents,no chips,no dings..the interior was redone also in 2013 and is in excellent condition..the front and rear brakes were all replaced,master cylinder rebuilt,full tune up,all new front and rear shocks,all was done march 2014.. the car is all complete and is missing nothing.. the car drives excellent and very smooth with no type of issues.. i will help ship the buick electra anywhere in the world.. email me or call me if you have any questions 650-396-9172 robert |

Consumers shopping for a domestic full-size crossover have heard all about GM's triplets. The Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave are a very appealing and talented group of siblings. Entering their fifth year of production, albeit middle-age in the automotive industry, each is attractive, well-rounded and very capable on the paved dance floor. While all share nearly identical base DNA and the same basic running gear, subtle physical differences and unique personalities emerge between the trio when one digs a bit deeper.
The most polished of the threesome, without question, is the Enclave from Buick. Fresh off a mid-cycle update (as are its siblings), the flagship of the platform boasts a facelift, innovative new features and an upgraded demeanor for the new model year.
GM recalling 1.5M cars in China for faulty bracket
Fri, 27 Dec 2013General Motors and its Chinese partners have announced their second recall in the People's Republic this year, following a 2,653-unit recall of the Cadillac SRX earlier this year. This latest recall affects nearly 1.5 million cars built between 2006 and 2012. It's not explicitly stated, but as there's no movement from the US NHTSA, we suspect that the cars in question were all Chinese-built rather than imports.
The vast majority of the affected vehicles are Buick Excelles (pictured), with 1.2 million units being recalled over a faulty bracket that's meant to secure the fuel pump. The Excelles in question were built between 2006 and 2012, while an additional 250,000 Chevrolet Sail superminis, built between April 2009 and October 2011, are being recalled for a similar reason.
According to the PRC's Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the faulty bracket could crack and potentially cause a fuel leak.
Buick might be getting a logo makeover
Fri, 23 Nov 2012General Motors has finished off an extensive model overhaul for its Buick division, but along with its updated cars, the brand might also be getting a new logo. According to the Detroit Free Press, GM North America President Mark Reuss indicated that the Buick tri-shield logo could be getting a makeover, but offered no further information.
It is unlikely Buick will completely redesign or replace its current logo, but the article seems to indicate that it might return to color; although all chrome now, the logo used to feature red, white and blue shields.
