Will make a great summer car, particularly given the power soft-top (7-8 seconds to open or close). Only used Premium fuel and oil used in this car so far. Engine and the car are in great condition, no leaks of any sort. Just got the car oil-serviced and checked, no service needed until 90k. Got an expensive car polish done, so the car looks spanking new.
2 previous owners, I'm the third owner. Car was under extended warranty when i bought it at 69000 miles a little less than 2 years ago (Sep 2012). The car does have scratches in the bottom of the front bumper because of the low clearance of the car, and a small dent on the right rear (see pics). BMW i8 and M1 reunited in mid-engined Bavarian retrospective
Mon, Dec 1 2014The BMW i8 may be the cutting edge today – it did, after all, just win our Technology of the Year award – but as rare an event as it is, it's not the first time that BMW has put out an extreme mid-engined supercar. The last time was in the late 1970s with the M1, a Giugiaro-designed, (partially) Lamborghini-developed piece of exotic machinery. The better part of four decades later, Auto Express has brought together an original M1 with its spiritual (if much more advanced) successor for the video comparison that was bound to happen. The question we can't help but ponder, initial sales success aside, is whether the i8 will mature into a classic in the same way the M1 has.
BMW X1 EV for Zinoro spotted
Tue, 04 Jun 2013BMW has teamed up with Chinese automaker Brilliance Automotive to create a joint venture in China, called Zinoro, and it appears that an all-electric version of the X1 crossover is to be the brand's first model. Spotted testing in Munich, these spy shots show a more camouflaged version of the X1 EV that we saw back in April.
Comparing these latest spy shots, we can see that the Zinoro model will wear a completely unique front fascia that ditches BMW's trademark grille, but few other changes seem to be taking place. Previous reports indicate that this Zinoro EV could go on sale in China early next year.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class named 2015 World Car of the Year

The 2015 World Car of the Year awards have just been announced, and the charming new C-Class sedan has taken top honors, beating both the new Volkswagen Passat and Ford Mustang.
