Ladies and Gentlemen, First of all, I really do NOT want to sell my BMW x5. It took me the better part of a year to find this car and I've loved every single day I've owned it. However, I am about to head out on my 5th deployment with the Marines and unfortunately I do not have anyone to look after it this time. I do NOT want it to sit in storage so alias I am selling it. I bought the car from the original owner (he turned it into the dealership and I bought it right after) and I knew he was as OCD as I was because the car was super clean. I take care of all my cars, bikes and possessions in general. You will notice from the photos its in incredible shape. Just want to mention that it is indeed a MANUAL TRANSMISSION / STANDARD vehicle. Yes you heard me correctly it is one of the rare ones and in fact EVERY single time I got an oil change at least one of the mechanics would make me a cash offer to purchase the vehicle. 2014 BMW Z4 offers minor refinements with a majorly orange wrapper
Mon, 14 Jan 2013The redesigned BMW Z4 was rolled out onto the show floor at the Detroit Auto Show, with the example in question being an sDrive35is variant, with the just-less-than-screaming Hyper Orange Package. The exclusive colorway includes the metallic orange paintjob, as well as trim-specific seats, stitching and accents for the interior. More importantly, the 35is driveline means that you'll find a high-output version of the turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 engine, here outputting 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Two slightly less ferociously powered versions of the Z4 will be available for the new model year, too (both familiar). The Z4 sDrive35i is good for 300 hp and 300 lb-ft, while the still-potent sDrive28i features a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder making 240 hp and 260 lb-ft.

BMW launches new M Performance accessories for M5, M6
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Those looking to make their stock BMW look like an M model might be interested in an M Sport package. But those who already drive an M model and want that extra bit of attitude to take it over the top look towards the M Performance Accessories catalog, to which BMW has just added a new range of add-ons for the M5 and M6.
The new range of accessories include a titanium exhaust from Akrapovic that's 22 pounds lighter and an extra bit throatier than the stock unit. BMW's also offering a carbon-ceramic brake kit and 20-inch alloys to accommodate them, as well as a carbon aero kit, carbon interior trim and those trademark stripes for the truly extroverted BMW performance enthusiast.

BMW calls in 50,000 motorbikes over fuel pump leak
Tue, 07 Jan 2014If you don't often see motorbikes being recalled, it's probably because there's less to go wrong on a motorcycle. But a problem with the fuel pump on a wide array of BMW Motorrad products has prompted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a recall for over 50,000 of the Bavarian two-wheelers across America.
The issue revolves around the fuel pump flange on R-model, K-model, S 1000 and HP2 motorcycles built as far back, in some cases, to 2005 and as recent as 2012, depending on the model. The flange was found to be prone to crack and leak fuel, which NHTSA evaluated as a fire risk. As a result, precisely 50,184 such motorbikes are being recalled to have their flanges reinforced or, where necessary, to replace the entire fuel pump.
