Time to downsize my little car collection! Also included with the car is this set of authentic 18" BBS RGR wheels with diamond finish. Brand New these wheels where close to $4000 before tires!!! BBS center caps and BBS valve stem covers are included! They do have their fair share of curb rash and a few small bends in the lip but they balanced out nice and true with the new tires that were just installed. CarFax report available upon request. Vehicle has REBUILT TITLE. On 07/02/2012, over one year ago, this car was rear ended. The rear body panel, trunk, tail lights, rear bumper and bumper cover where all replaced with new/used OEM parts. Will global automakers drop local JV partners if China's government says they can?
Wed, 02 Jul 2014Chinese economic policies could be in for a big change, as President Xi Jinping pushes the communist country to open its domestic markets even further. That could mean big things for the auto industry, especially when it comes to the country's far-reaching joint-venture system.
According to Chinese law, foreign automakers may only maintain a fifty-fifty partnership with their domestic counterparts. But with Jinping's push for openness leading to potential free-trade deals, that policy could be relaxed (or eradicated all together) in short order. What's an automaker to do?
Well, in BMW's case, stay the course. Automotive News Europe reports that, despite the grumblings about the JV policy changes, the German manufacturer has resigned its agreement with Brilliance through 2028. This is made doubly remarkable by the fact that BMW signed the extension over three years before it was set to expire.

Chevy Bolt wins 2017 Green Car of the Year
Thu, Nov 17 2016We knew that a plug-in vehicle was going to win the 2017 Green Car of the Year award this year, given that all five finalists have a way to charge up. And when Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, announced the winner – the 2017 Chevy Bolt EV – he said that the car itself represents one of those times in the auto industry when everything is about to change. Similar to the invention of the starter motor, things are about to get different. For now, though, the fact that the Bolt EV won an award sounds like the same old thing all over again. Just this week, it was named Motor Trends Car of the Year and to the Car And Driver Top 10 list. The other four finalists for Green Car of the Year included the Toyota Prius Prime, the Chrysler Pacifica, the Kia Optima (including hybrid and plug-in hybrid models) and the BMW 330e iPerformance.
