I am a BMW enthusiast and driven only BMWs for the last 20-years. I've included the Carfax report, see the second picture.

I purchased this car in Nov 2009 when it had ~7800 miles and only one owner. I purchased the “Total Care” extended warranty from Vista BMW that cost me $3500 and is good through 11/30/2014 or 60,000 miles whichever occurs first. BMW Service writers love Total Care, hence why they sell this extended warranty. It will transfer over to the next owner, so will have 7-months of remaining coverage under this warranty! Here is why this is the best maintained E46 M3 on eBay.

 Since taking ownership 4.4 years ago, BMW Service has performed the following services. Note that I did way more oil changes then the scheduled maintenance requires.

  • Four BMW Oil Services
  • BMW Inspection One 
  • BMW Inspection Two along with the replacement of the drive belts, fan belts, and windshield wipers in January of this year (2014). This service alone was $2250!

This car has always been garaged! The convertible top and leather seats are in excellent condition. I've always used seat covers since owning the car. BMW options include Silver Gray Metallic paint, Lumbar Support, Park Distance Control, Xenon Headlights, Harman-Kardon Sound System, and 19” wheels. The original owner put on an OEM rear-spoiler.

From the looks of these spy shots, BMW is back testing the hotter version of the M235i, the M2. We first brought you pictures of the lightly disguised coupe a few weeks back. While those original shots were on the road, it would seem that BMW has transitioned its testing to the Nürburgring.
Here, we get a better look at the M2 prototype's M-spec wheels. This particular car is missing the traditional quadruple exhausts that serve as an easy identifier for BMW M products, although our spies report that the tips, along with a more assertive front fascia, will arrive when the M2 makes its production debut.
We can't yet confirm any powertrain details, but previous rumors had the M2 getting its go from a tuned version of the brand's N55 turbocharged inline-six. Take a look up top for this latest round of spy photos of the BMW M2.

The troubled Alfa Romeo Giulia needs serious help [UPDATE]

UPDATE: An Alfa Romeo US spokesman responded to this article with the following statement: The safety concerns expressed in the story are false. The all-new 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia is designed and engineered to meet or exceed all federal safety regulations. The Alfa Romeo Giulia will begin production for the North American market in the late second-quarter of this year. Alfa Romeo will have a full product portfolio of premium vehicles that includes plans for (8) all-new Alfa Romeo vehicles by 2020. The product launches are prioritized by segment volumes starting this year with the Alfa Romeo Giulia production for North America starting in late Q2, followed by the Midsize-UV – the 2nd largest premium segment in North America. Even on the day you dragged them kicking and screaming and gesticulating wildly to a table full of concrete evidence, Alfa Romeo executives will never admit the Giulia program is going through a tough patch. But it is. Reports say the Giulia, on the eve of production, didn't just fail one internal crash test, but failed the front, side and rear impact tests. Alfa denies it. BMW's all-new M3 Sedan is dynamically nearly identical to its two-door M4 Coupe sibling: a stopwatch reveals that both are sub-four-second cars to 60 miles per hour, a racetrack proves that the mechanical twins are equally as adept on a road course and a full afternoon of driving on public roads demonstrates that each possesses talented everyday adaptability.
Yet after driving both BMW models back-to-back over two full days in Portugal, it's clear there are a few noticeable differences, both objective and subjective, that don't require instrument testing to reveal. All it takes is a few hours behind the wheel of both cars to conclude that one is slightly more agile, and the other a bit more twitchy. One has better outward visibility, while its counterpart is unquestionably more convenient.
It is the little things - subtleties attained through seat-of-the-pants observations - that eventually allow me to choose a favorite.
