You are bidding on a 2004 BMW M3 in a super rare and sought after Laguna Seca Blue color with gray leather interior and SMG transmission. The odometer just hit 99k miles. This car has almost every factory option that one could get back in 2004 including factory navigation, rear sensors, cold weather package, 19' brushed chrome wheels (currently plastidipped black), and Harmon Kardon sound. I bought this car almost two and half years ago and this car has been babied since I have owned it. The car is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires all around, front two are brand new and the rears got 75% life left. The car just got a fresh oil change (10W60 Castrol Synthetic) 500 miles ago. I have records and receipts of all the maintenance work that was done under my ownership. The car still looks and drives great. I had the whole car plastidipped professionally in January of this year and took it off couple of months ago myself. The car doesn't show any signs of ever being plastidipped as you can see from the pics (i have tons more pics available upon request), but there is still some dip residue on hard to reach nooks and cronies. The car has BMW OEM amber front corners and tail lights, but I do have the factory corners and tail lights as well. I am starting the bid low, but I am open to offers no lowballing please. This is one of the most sought after color as far as the E46 M3 is concerned and what makes this car even better is the availability of all the factory options. Please only contact me with offers if you are serious, low ball offers will be ignored. Happy bidding and please don't hesitate to email me with any questions or concerns.

BMW: Newfangled Idea
Mon, Feb 2 2015Former Today Show hosts Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel joined the all-new BMW i3 for its 2015 Super Bowl spot. The 60-second spot harkens back to the pair's bewilderment over the Internet way back in 1994, before cutting to the revolutionary electric Bimmer, which elicits a similarly perplexed reaction. It's a clever spot for BMW, tying its perhaps misunderstood EV to another formerly unfamiliar piece of tech. We're no strangers to the i3, but if you are, check out our detailed review on the electric hatch.
BMW's Vision Next 100 concept celebrates past, predicts future
Mon, Mar 7 2016Forecasting 100 years out is a tough job, so we'll forgive BMW if not everything in this concept comes true in the next century. It's the first of several that will celebrate BMW's centenary this year – concepts from Mini, Rolls-Royce, and BMW Motorcycles will follow later – and aims to guess what and how we'll be driving in the distant future. Although it's no longer a question of if, we still don't know when cars will make the switch to autonomous driving. So yeah, there's a lot up in the air. What this concept promises is more of everything. What this concept promises is more of everything: more comfort, more assistance, and a more intense experience – when you want that. Plus new, lighter materials, increased customization, and of course all the connected smarts you can throw (or will be able to throw) at a set of four wheels and some seats. It starts inside with an out-there dashboard display. Going a step further from the typical head-up display, the Alive Geometry transforms everything in your periphery into a digital blanket of context stretching from the interior to some of the exterior panels. This tessellation of moving triangles is supposed to mimic a flock of birds to bring you subtly changing information about what's going on around you. BMW gives this idea the made-up term of 4D printing. BMW gives this idea the made-up term of 4D printing, as it believes that in 30 years it will be possible to rapidly prototype this flock-of-informative-seagulls design to provide function (the fourth dimension, apparently?) in addition to the physical form. We'll check back in 2046. BMW also notes that displays in current cars will give way to OLED displays and then to the windshield-as-display concept that has been promised for a while and is seen here. About the car driving itself: BMW highlights two new driving modes for the concept, Boost and Ease. Boost is for when the driver is in control, the vehicle doing what it can to heighten the experience and the driver's awareness. It can use the Alive Geometry to show the best line or warn of other cars, integrating all the current active safety tech and more. BMW believes this will allow the driver to improve instead of just going faster. We would have called this mode iStillDriveSometimes, but hey, marketing still has 100 years to come around to that one. The important idea is that the driver will still have the choice to drive.
Ruby celebrates 90 years of BMW Motorrad with special helmet collection
Fri, 25 Oct 2013BMW isn't the only one celebrating its own 90th anniversary building motorbikes. So is Atelier Ruby, that French manufacturer of jewel-like motorcycle helmets.
Ruby has just released a capsule collection of helmets marking BMW Motorrad's 90th anniversary, and we want them almost as much as a Bimmer bike itself. The Munich 90 collection includes three new designs available in three helmet styles, including the signature blue and red stripes on a white background worn by BMWs of two wheels or four on the racing circuit.
Of course, these helmets, being made by Ruby as they are, won't come cheap, with jaw-dropping prices ranging from $980 to $1,450. Of course there are more cost-effective ways to protect your noggin, but few more stylish.
