The car has several scratches on the top of the fenders along with some dents on the roof from the hood flying back. The car will be sold WITHOUT a hood and is up to the buyer to source one. Car can be transported fine without a hood.

The engine is stock S54 with a horsepower freaks twin turbo setup. One of the turbos was just rebuilt last week and I would suggest doing the second turbo for peace of mind. The car currently is in need of a new head gasket. It starts, idles and even drives fine when under 2k rpm. When going past that and into boost at all it does generate the cloud of white smoke common to coolant mixing with the fuel. The car is otherwise in very solid shape. Shifts perfectly and has a stage 1 HPF clutch and reinforced subframe.
The car will need a hood and some paint work to look perfect and a head gasket to run perfectly. I do not have the time or funds to do the work right now which is why I am selling car. I just purchased a 2007 Z4m which is taking all my mod money and I just dont need two fast cars.

NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors

Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.

Sun, 12 Jan 2014Without a doubt, the most impressive thing that BMW showed at CES this year was a driverless M235i drifting flawlessly around a wet track at Las Vegas Speedway. However, that bit of robotic helmsmanship wasn't the only trick the German company had up its sleeve. Or, more to the point, on its wrist.
Taking a page from rival Mercedes-Benz, BMW demonstrated how a "smartwatch," in this case the Samsung Galaxy Gear, could be made to function usefully with a vehicle, in this case the BMW i3. Calling it a "research application," BMW showed off its BMW i Remote App on the Galaxy Gear; the app gives information about state of battery charge, available range and whether or not all the doors and windows are closed or open. Perhaps more useful still, the watch can be used to send a destination to the i3's navigation unit, adjust the climate control in preparation for a trip and can recognize voice commands. Nifty stuff, if not world-shaking, that could help tech-obsessed luxury buyers take a second look at the upcoming BMW EV.
