The overall condition of this M3 is super nice inside and out! This car has been properly cared for and well maintained since it was new by a fellow BMW CCA club member. This car has always been serviced and was in fact a former BMW CPO car. Everything is up to date including the inspection II, the wheels and tires have been replaced, brakes and rotors have plenty of life on them, as they were recently replaced, and most importantly all the dealer recommended inspections have been completed on time when they were due.

Please note that this is not your typical 01' E46 M3, I was in search of this car for over a year, my last E46 M3 was an SMG 04' with 50k, but  I really wanted to purchase a 6 spd manual. As i started searching I started running into the same issue over and over again of most of the cars were beat and abused, many were tracked and many owned by younger individuals, which made them rougher cars in general. The main thing that attracted me was that i was purchasing from someone i knew.

Most of these cars due to the age they have a very limited amount of information available in regards to how they have been taken care of and how it was driven. This car has always waxed, garage kept, never driven in chicago winters.
I really don't want to part with the car but recently I had the opportunity to be able to purchase an EVO E30 M3 and I need to make room in my garage.

Please note this car is in great condition but being a used car please have realistic expectations. Exterior condition I would rate a 9/10 only flaws are some some rock chips in the front bumper clear bra, always minor ding in front passenger fender, and very minor scratch on rear deck-lid, the front clear bra also shows wear due to its age but it has done phenomenal job of protecting the car. Tires id say they have plenty of tread left they were only put on a few months ago, rims are brand new as well, there are no rock chips on the hood, rear bumper is in excellent shape.  To my knowledge this car has absolutely no paint work. You must come see this car to really appreciate it.  Feel free to schedule a time to come by my office and check out the car, i'd love to show it to any serious buyers, please do any inspections, or test drives prior to purchasing the car.

This is a true enthusiast owned M3, I am part of BMW CCA, Bimmerforums, M3forums.net, and all the other clubs.

Couple arrested after carjacked Jaguar breaks down

Tue, Nov 12 2019

A couple that played musical chairs with allegedly stolen luxury cars was arrested in suburban Salt Lake City following a carjacking and police pursuit after one of the cars drove over a “stop strip” tire deflater and the other was a Jaguar suffering from mechanical problems. Police arrested Brock Hansen, 33, and Brittney Price, 23, on Sunday in Taylorsville, Utah, following the incidents, which were reported by local media and spotted by Jalopnik. They began, police say, when an officer out on patrol spotted what he suspected was a stolen BMW. The officer began to trail the car to run the license plate numbers when the BMW came to a stop to pick up a man, later identified as Hansen, who was walking on the street. The officer then continued to follow the car, was able to confirm that the BMW was, in fact, stolen, and called for backup. Police at one point used a stop stick — a triangular tube filled with tire-puncturing nails — to try and stop the duo, but Price instead made a U-turn after driving over it and continued on with a deflated tire. She eventually pulled into a gas station, where surveillance footage shows Hansen exiting the vehicle, walking over to what appears to be a Jaguar X-Type sedan whose driver was standing at the pump, climbing nonchalantly into the drivers seat and taking off, following the stolen BMW. Price eventually stopped and exited the BMW to try and get into the Jaguar but was apprehended by police after a brief foot chase and scuffle that left an officer injured, KSL-TV reported. Hansen then took off and led police on a chase — “at relatively low speeds,” according to ABC4.com — before he stopped the car and surrendered to police without a fight. Both were taken to jail. “What we learned from the owner of that Jaguar is that heÂ’s been having some issues with that Jaguar and he believes that the Jaguar just wasnÂ’t going to go anymore and was bogging down Â… so may have picked the wrong vehicle to try and run from the police in today,” Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake Sgt. Melody Gray told ABC4.

Editors’ Picks March 2023 | Hot hatch galore and some great luxury SUVs

Tue, Apr 4 2023

This month of Editors’ Picks sees us hand out a pair of nods to the best hot hatchbacks money can buy these days, the Honda Civic Type R and Toyota GR Corolla. You can read more about how they compare in our head-to-head comparison test, but both have their advantages, and we can highly recommend buying either of them. Then we head to Europe to recognize a couple of SUVs that just went through mid-cycle refreshes and came out on the other side just as lovable as they were before. In case you missed our previous Editors' Picks posts, hereÂ’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary in their respective segments get an EditorsÂ’ Pick designation. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in January that earned an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2023 Honda Civic Type R 2023 Honda Civic Type R front low View 34 Photos Quick take: The Honda Civic Type R embodies what at means to be a hot hatch. It's the best FWD car we've ever driven, and because it's a Civic, it excels with a spacious and pretty interior, too. This is the full package. Score: 8.5 What it competes with: Toyota GR Corolla, VW Golf R Pros: Sublime driving dynamics, magical shifter, gorgeous and utilitarian interior Cons: An expensive proposition, lacks basic luxuries like heated seats From the editors: Senior Editor James Riswick — "The Civic Type R is a resolutely composed performance machine that sufficiently builds upon the delightful man-machine interfaces found in the increasingly impressive trio of Civic Sport Touring, Civic Si and Acura Integra A-Spec. ItÂ’s even more fun and capable at higher speeds, yet remains just as forgiving and easy to drive. The 2023 Honda Civic Type R sure seems all grown up. Maybe itÂ’s because IÂ’m almost in my 40s, (ugh) but I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. The Type R magic is not lost." In-depth analysis: 2023 Honda Civic Type R First Drive Review: All grown up isn't so bad   2023 Toyota GR Corolla 2023 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit front three quarter low View 39 Photos Quick take: The GR Corolla is a serious performance machine that is sure to please any enthusiast with its brilliant driving dynamics. It's only let down by a cheap-feeling and small interior that doesn't lend well to daily driver duty.

2015 BMW M4 Coupe ditches some doors, gains some grunt

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

If you saw our earlier post about the hot new BMW M3 Sedan and were about to call blasphemy for no coupe version, just settle down, silly. Remember: BMW now badges its two-door 3 Series models with the number four, and thus, meet the 2015 M4 Coupe. Looks hot, right?
So yeah, it's pretty much just the M3 with two less doors, but that doesn't make it any less important - or potent. Power comes from a turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, sending 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. You know, the usual.
Not only is the M4 more powerful than the M3 Coupe it replaces, it's a good deal lighter, too. BMW has managed to cut 176 pounds of weight out of the M4, and that means, with the increased output numbers, that the M4 will scoot to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds with the DCT or 4.1 seconds with the do-it-yourself tranny. Either way, that's not what we'd call slow.
