 2001 BMW M3
Here is the most wanted 2001 BMW M3 Convertible in Imola Red with Black leather interior and top. State of art and intelligence is the phrase to describe this ultimate driving machine. The new M3 convertible, based on the delectable current-generation 3 Series, is propelled by the magnificent 3.2-liter engine, with 333 thundering horses coming from a single bank of six cylinders. Capped with a six-speed manual transmission, all that horsepower and the 262 foot-pounds of torque (at 4,900 rpm) is good enough to propel the 3,781-pound M3 convertible to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds, according to BMW. But an exhilarating driving experience involves more than mere speed, and the dynamics of the M3 have car reviewers frothing at the mouth to describe the joy derived from piloting this vehicle. From its communicative steering and near-perfectly balanced chassis to the compliant-yet-firm ride, this Bimmer, like most others, will have you searching for that elusive twisty road upon which to spool the revs and extract that stunning exhaust note. Standard features for this convertible M3 include
Bucket Seats, Center Console, Power Heated Mirrors, Keyless Entry System, Lighted Entry System, Power Brakes, Rear Window Defroster, Sport Power Seats, Premium Audio System, 18 Inch Alloy Wheels, Automatic Climate Control (2 Zone) - Driver and Passenger, 3.2L I6 DOHC 24V FI Engine, Power Driver Seat w/Memory, Limited Slip Differential (Rear), 6-Speed Manual Transmission, Trip Computer, Stability Control, Traction Control, 4-Wheel ABS, Driver and Passenger Front Airbags, Front Side Airbags, Anti-Theft Alarm System, Leather Seats, Power Front Passenger Seat, Audio Steering Wheel Controls, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Remote Trunk Release, Leather Steering Wheel Trim, Electrochromatic Rear View Mirror, Power Convertible Roof and much more..
heated power-adjustable sport bucket seats, rain sensor; these are optional on this beauty. Other options include a cold weather package that includes a ski bag, heated front seats and headlight washer system that'll make the cars more palatable during the winter months as is a CD player w/ harmon/kardon sound system, for crying out loud.

Listed for sale locatlly. I reserve the right to end the auction early if the asking price is met.

2015 BMW M4 gets initiated into the club

Fri, 22 Aug 2014

It's easy for enthusiasts and traditionalists to give BMW a hard time these days, what with its plans to add more front-wheel drive models and seeming move away from more emotionally connected cars. However, the push for perfection that underscored its old Ultimate Driving Machine motto is still in there, especially in its M models. In fact, the first M4 recently made it to US shores, and the company thought the only appropriate way to celebrate was to introduce its new coupe to some of its high-performance forefathers.
The M4's initiation into the M car brotherhood involved bringing together no fewer than 52 classic and newer models - including four racecars and many privately owned vehicles - to an empty parking lot and letting the coupe drift and slalom around them to say hello. According to BMW, there was a combined 11,566 horsepower on hand. It takes a pretty trusting owner to stand back and watch as a brand-new vehicle slides its tail out with the rear wheels smoking within feet of their pride and joy. Stay tuned until the end where the owners and their cars get a shout out in the credits. Scroll down to read BMW's press release about it.

BMW rethinks all-wheel-drive M cars

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

BMW M hasn't been able to decide whether it wants to jump on the all-wheel-drive bandwagon or not (with the exceptions of the X5 M and the X6 M, which are based on AWD architecture). That might be changing though, since M's president Friedrich Nitschke recently realized that 70 to 80 percent of Mercedes-Benz E63 AMGs are ordered with all-wheel drive. Earlier this year, Nitschke said that there were no new AWD M models planned, so this comes as somewhat of a surprise.
"On our cars we are thinking of all-wheel drive, but it won't come before we get the successor of the M5 and M6," Nitschke said in a Motoring report. "That's the timing and it's not practical to react in the current life cycles."

BMW X4 hatches its fastback shape in Shanghai

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

The day has finally come for BMW to pull the covers off its X4 Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show. The machine brings few surprises - we've already seen an official image gallery from the German automaker, so its exterior shape was well known - but at least now we get to see it with our own eyes, and with the lenses of our very own cameras.
You can clearly see the fastback roofline in our high-res image gallery above, along with the jacked-up stance that allows BMW to call this machine a Sports Activity Vehicle, which basically means "Crossover" to our friends in Munich. We've seen similar vehicle shapes before, most notably in the form of the BMW X6, but also as far back as the 1980s from the likes of AMC.
We fully expect the transition from concept to production to be pretty seamless, so what we see here is, for the most part, what we'll see on the showroom floor in 2014. Feel free to peruse the press release below, but first, be sure to browse through our live images from Shanghai and let us know what you think.
