2000 Bmw Z3 M Roadster Convertible 2-door 3.2l Titanium Silver Red/black Interio on 2040-cars

Listed for sale is my 2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster with matching Hardtop. With an average of 7,500 miles per year this car has been garaged kept and perfectly maintained over the years. I purchased this car 5 years ago with the intentions of keeping it forever until I had the opportunity last year to purchase my dream car Z3 M-Coupe. With that being said before I purchase my Coupe I completely updated the Roadster replacing all the wear parts and defects known to all Z3 owners. I have invested more than $14,000 which is detailed in the list below. The exterior is in excellent shape and the paint shows no signs of fading or blurring after 14yrs. I also purchased a matching hardtop which sat unused for 8 years with the paint being in perfect condition. The hardtop and exterior paint matches beautifully. The interior Red/Black color combination is awesome! The leather is excellent and has no tears or noticeable wear areas. 2 known interior issues with the Z3’s have been fixed, the glove box has been reinforced and closes tightly as do the seats which had the bushings replaced fixing the rocking seat issue. New Anthracite pedal plates were added for the gas, clutch and foot rest. All the emblems, side marker lights have been replaced as well as upgrading to HID headlights. Mechanically the car is strong and powerful with plenty of torque. The rear sub frame has been checked and is in perfect condition showing no signs of stress. The front windshield is brand new and the Rear view mirror needs to be replaced for free by the manufacture. I have the paperwork and address to send the mirror in order to have it replaced free of charge. I have the stock radio which needs some work on the face plate in order for it to work but I do recommend upgrading the speakers to improve the quality of the sound. The car drives like a dream and looks great with the new APEX Anthracite EC-7 18” wheels and brand new G-Force tires. This type of car with all the upgrades and replaced wear parts does not come around often especially for the price of only $13,000. UPGRADES/REPLACES PARTS I have invoices/records for all the upgrades and wear parts replaced below.
Total parts and upgrades - $14,534.90 |

BMW planning smaller Z2 roadster
Sat, 10 May 2014It's been a few years since we heard about the BMW Z2, a compact, two-seat convertible that would slot in below the aging Z4 (shown above). Now, though, the crew at Car and Driver are back with details on the oft-rumored roadster.
The big shock for enthusiasts on this one is C/D's report that the Z2 will spin its front wheels, rather than its rears. A front-drive roadster is strange enough, but a front-drive BMW roadster? It's apparently true, though, as the new model would share its platform with the front-drive Mini and 2 Series Active Tourer rather than with the racier 228i or M235i coupes.
According to C/D, the rumored Z2 could be powered by a range of three- and four-cylinder, turbocharged engines, although it's more likely to be a four-only affair. Power should range from 160 to 230 ponies, while an M variant could arrive with 300 horsepower (that's a whole lot of power for front-wheel drive...).
BMW 4 Series spied with its future competition
Wed, 20 Feb 2013BMW showed off its new 4 Series coupe in concept form at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, but it won't be long before we see the production model, evidenced by this modestly camouflaged prototype spotted testing. In case you forgot, the 4 Series serves as the replacement for the two-door versions of the BMW 3 Series, just as the upcoming 2 Series will effectively be the new version of the 1 Series coupe and convertible sold in our market.
This isn't our first glimpse of the 4 Series out testing, and we've even spied its droptop, Gran Coupe and too-hot M4 kin. We don't expect the final design to stray too much from the concept car seen in Detroit, albeit without the normal conceptual goodies like oversized wheels and with the overstyled front fascia toned down a bit. Our spy photographers even caught the 4 Series coupe hanging out with an Audi A5, giving us a good glimpse at how the two cars will stack up in terms of size and design.
It's still unknown exactly what engines will power the car when it comes to production, but since this thing is a derivative of the 3 Series, we expect the usual range of turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines to be available, likely in 428i ad 435i guise (though, to be fair, the larger 640i coupe uses a 3.0-liter turbo engine, so there's even the potential for 440i nomenclature to work its way into the mix). We'll have to wait until the car officially bows later this year to know for sure.
Audi overtakes BMW as adulterers' favorite car brand
Fri, 14 Jun 2013As Audi hopes to surpass BMW as the top-selling luxury automaker, sometimes it has to look at the small victories, too. For instance, IllicitEncounters.com - a UK dating site for married folks (also known as adultery) - is reporting that a recent poll shows that more people willing to cheat on their spouses drive an Audi. Last year, this same poll showed that BMW was the car-of-choice for adulterers.
With Audi on top (pun intended) and BMW bumped to number two, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo and Volkswagen round out the top five car brands owned by unfaithful wives and husbands. Check out the poll over at IllicitEncounters.com, but be sure to clear your browser history afterward. You know, just to make sure your spouse doesn't get the wrong idea about the websites you visit.
