I've owned several Mercedes and BMW's and this is by far the best car I have ever owned! The only reason that I am selling it is because I purchased a 2013 model that is exactly the same. Whoever is lucky enough to purchase this beast will absolutely love it! It is "uberloaded with every option except the rear massaging seats. It has: full leather, including the dash, heads up display (which is the absolute coolest option you can get in a car), infrared camera built into the grill to detect people and animals when you are driving at night, keyless entry/go, navigation which was updated 2 months ago, sport package (which includes 19" sport rims shod with Pirelli run flat tires and shadowline trim), rear entertainment system with infrared headphones and remote control, CD changer, rear electric sunshade that includes the rear windows, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, lane change detection and back up camera which includes side cameras and parking sensors.

BMW recalls diesel X5 models over fuel filter heater

BMW has announced that it is recalling 1,540 examples of its 2009 and 2010 X5 xDrive35d crossovers produced between June 13, 2009 and November 9, 2009.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the model's fuel filter heater, which warms up the diesel fuel at low outside temperatures, can experience an electrical overload condition that may cause it to become permanently activated. This means the fuel filter heater could remain activated even when the ignition is off, which could lead to a dead battery. It could also lead to overheating, possibly resulting in a fire.
BMW 2 Series Active Tourer getting third row
Sat, 23 Aug 2014In what enthusiasts will likely see as a continued attempt to dilute the BMW brand, the German manufacturer is testing a three-row variant of its already controversial 2 Series Active Tourer. Our trusty spy photographers captured images of the new, front-drive MPV testing on the roads of Europe.
The easiest way to ID this more passenger friendly 2er is its slightly longer length, which will allow it to accommodate seven people in total. As our spies point out, this should make the 2AT an attractive proposition for European taxi companies. Yep, BMW built a car that will be praised by taxi drivers. On top of the extra seats, the rear overhang appears larger as well, which should mean extra cargo space.
This, of course, is not the first time we've captured images of a new 2AT variant undergoing testing. Back in May, we spotted a hybrid-powered variant out for a drive.
BMW 1 Series sedan prepares to fight Mercedes CLA, Audi A3
Thu, 04 Sep 2014The entry-level premium sedan segment is pretty hot right now, with the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class doing well for their respective automakers here in the US. Of course, BMW has its 2 Series, but that's currently only available as a coupe, with a convertible bodystyle forthcoming. That all looks to change, however, as our spies recently caught BMW testing a four-door 1 Series sedan that seems to have the A3 and CLA clear in its sight.
BMW's entry-level four-door is expected to ride on the same front-wheel-drive UKL platform that we recently spied in Mini Countryman form. We're pretty sure this thing will launch under the 1 Series line (odds for sedans and wagons, evens for coupes and convertibles), but it's anyone's guess with BMW - after all, the five-door, front-drive Active Tourer wears a 2 Series nameplate.
Look for the 1 Series sedan to launch sometime in 2016 as a 2017 model. Better late than never in the entry-lux segment, we suppose.
