FOR SALE is my personal, RARE, 2008 BMW ALPINA B7 sedan. LOOK AT THE WINDOW STICKER, $124,225.00!!! This car has the MAJOR options most are looking for which includes the NIGHT VISION, ACTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, REAR ENTERTAINMENT PACKAGE & HD RADIO! Most BMW dealerships were only allowed 3 cars per a model year! These 7-series sedans left the BMW factory & were shipped to ALPINA for their upgraded package. The heart of the car is the SUPERCHARGED BMW V8 making 505 HP & 515 FT/LBS of TORQ.. Upgraded  transmission & Diff. cooler was installed. The ALPINA interior pieces, Steering wheel, headliner, plaque, etc.. Then the exterior ALPINA body kit & 21" wheels & tires to finish off the car.

I bought this car for a client of mine with 7 miles on the car. IMMEDIATELY a FULL frontal clear bra was installed for NO rock chips! Her & her Husband have 7-8 cars at a time. She kept it 2 years and put 21K miles on it before I bought it off of her to make my driver. THIS car has ALWAYS been OVER serviced. I love BMW but do NOT believe in 10K mile oil changes. In fact, some of the 2007 models have had S/C failures due to the extended service intervals. I AM A SERVICE FANATIC ON MY CARS! Oil & filter has been changed ever 3-4K miles. The "life time" transmission fluid has been changed, multiple brake flushes, power steering flush, coolant flushes & three differential flushes already. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURE I INCLUDED OF THE OIL CAP REMOVED. It shows the timing chain & engine still look brand new compared to the extended oil changes that cause these parts to turn off black from the heat & OLD oil.

We did a few modifications to the car as you can see. It has 20% Satin (NOT FLAT BLACK) Factory powder coated wheels, Red Brake calipers and Borla mufflers installed. They were installed in the Factory spot so none of the rest of the exhaust system was modified. SOUNDS much better but is NOT to loud while driving normal!

The car shows an accident on the CarFax. IT DID NOT AFFECT THE TITLE ON THE CAR. I will gladly give any serious buyer the full story since I was the one driving the car. A 81 yoa man in his 2012 Toyota Camry turned left in front of me. I saw what he was doing so I was able to swerve left & clip him on the side of his car. My car had damage to the left front fender only (not any of the door), hood & front bumper cover. There was NO airbag deployment or ANY fluids leaking. I drove the car off the road to wait for Police. The car was fixed at the BMW shop with BMW parts ONLY with no expenses spared from his insurance company. The job was not rushed. I made them REPLACE all the parts & not repair any!! EVEN a NEW complete clear bra was re-installed on the car.

This is my DREAM car but my wife is pregnant & DEMANDS a SUV for the baby. ONLY reason I am selling the car!!

The car needs NOTHING & we just installed a NEW alternator on the car 2 weeks ago!!!

PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. LOOK AT MY FEEDBACK.

THANKS, JAY

2014 BMW 328d xDrive Sport Wagon

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

There's a running joke among auto writers that the perfect car would be a diesel-powered, rear-drive wagon with manual transmission and no power accessories whatsoever. It would only be available in brown and would somehow be as fun to drive as a Mazda MX-5 Miata. Makes total sense, right?
Realistically, no manufacturer is ever going to completely fulfill our wishes, no matter how much we beg, plead, kick and scream about our dream car that most of us would actually never buy. The best we can do is hope for a vehicle that mixes some aspects of this ideal journalist's car. And in today's world, that vehicle just might be the BMW 328d xDrive Sport Wagon.
No, it's not available with a manual gearbox, and power can only be sent through an xDrive all-wheel-drive system. It's also not available in brown (although both Mojave Metallic and Sparkling Bronze Metallic are acceptable stand-ins), but it ticks the two main boxes of being a diesel-powered wagon, one of only a couple such models in the United States.

Are you the 2016 BMW M2?

Wed, 21 May 2014

From the looks of these spy shots, BMW is back testing the hotter version of the M235i, the M2. We first brought you pictures of the lightly disguised coupe a few weeks back. While those original shots were on the road, it would seem that BMW has transitioned its testing to the Nürburgring.
Here, we get a better look at the M2 prototype's M-spec wheels. This particular car is missing the traditional quadruple exhausts that serve as an easy identifier for BMW M products, although our spies report that the tips, along with a more assertive front fascia, will arrive when the M2 makes its production debut.
We can't yet confirm any powertrain details, but previous rumors had the M2 getting its go from a tuned version of the brand's N55 turbocharged inline-six. Take a look up top for this latest round of spy photos of the BMW M2.

BMW Films are on the way back [w/videos]

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

The BMW Films series caused a stir in 2001 and 2002 by combining top-quality cinematography, Hollywood names and driving excitement to sell its sporty wares in a whole new way. By arriving five years before YouTube, they ranked as some of the earliest viral videos on the internet. By now, these sorts of films are almost commonplace, but back when BMW hit upon the idea, the idea of brand-integrated short films on the internet was still a novelty. Now, for the first time in over a decade, the German automaker is planning on bringing back BMW Films for a new season.
Trudy Hardy, BMW North America Vice President of Marketing, announced the series' return at the 2014 Automotive News World Congress in Detroit, according to Ad Age. However, neither the German brand nor Anonymous Content, the original production company, have been willing to comment further on when the new videos are coming.
The original series of eight films starred Clive Owen as the Driver (back then, Owen was largely unknown to American audiences), a mercenary who would take a variety of jobs and always drive a BMW. David Fincher executive produced the first season and directors included top names like John Frankenheimer, Ang Lee and Guy Ritchie. All of the second season movies had Owen driving a Z4, but in our estimation, the quality had fallen off a bit compared to the outstanding first season.
