For sale is a 2002 BMW 745i in excellent running condition.  I have owned this vehicle since 2006 and this car has been a absolute dream to drive.  I am very meticulous with my cars and this car was pampered. Washed and wax every 3 months.  Car had a extended warranty through BMW which i took full advantage of.  In 2007 the cars navigation and software was updated to a 2006 DVD drive and software update.  So this car has no electrical issues at all.  I also had a brand new transmission installed in 2007 from BMW covered under warranty as i knew i was keeping the car for a while i wanted a fresh transmission.  So the transmission on this car has only has 70,000 miles, Cars transmission fluid has been changed once since time of install.  This car also has a lot of new parts as well.  Car has a new water cooled alternator, power steering pump, water pump, all radiator and heater lines, battery, lower front control arms, rear brakes, very recent oil change and tune up.
Car is fully loaded, AC front seats, Heated front and rear seats, Massaging front seats.  17 way powered front seats, Logic 7 Audio, Navigation, single disc and 6 disc changer, Bluetooth Phone, powered rear privacy shades on rear side passenger windows and rear decklid.  HID headlights high and low and HID fog lights. Front power headlight washers. Auto sensing wipers, Soft close on all 4 doors, along with a multitude of other options.
There is no other 745i around that has been this taken care of.  Please contact me with any questions. 516-790-0562 Mike
Also if wanted i have a Clean Car-fax that i can email you with in pdf format. with other pictures of the car as well.

Are you a BMW M4 GTS track car in disguise?

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

BMW is always happy to extract a little bit more gumption out of its M cars, just look at the latest 30th anniversary M5 or even the earlier CSL variants of the M3 for proof. Now, It looks like we might be getting the first glimpse of an even hotter M4, and it's wearing very interesting livery.
Our spies recently shot this M4 that could preview a future GTS version. It's all done up in MotoGP decals, but that might just be a ruse. This car sports a camouflaged lower air dam and rear wing, but those parts don't appear to be from an actual series safety car. The chin spoiler seems larger, and the rear wing is completely different. You can also spot an obvious Recaro logo on the driver's seat in one of the photos. Plus, the BMW emblem is removed at the back.
The disguised changes and odd choice of decals make this prototype incredibly weird. A BMW exec said at the beginning of the year that there were "no plans whatsoever to make a lighter, harder version just yet," of the M3 or M4, despite earlier rumors to the contrary. Check out the gallery to see what you think this is.

BMW M4 sheds some camouflage for latest test run

Fri, 15 Mar 2013

Last time we saw the upcoming BMW M4 out testing, it was heavily clad with camouflage and decidedly homely looking (as most early development mules are). But in this latest set of photos, the M3 coupe successor has started to come into its own skin, and we're seeing a shape more closely akin to that of a rendering we brought you a few months back.
Unsurprisingly, the M4 coupe looks very similar to the 4 Series Concept that BMW debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. And while non-M version of the 4er will likely look a bit more sedate, these spy shots clearly show an aggressive front fascia, large wheels and the usual quad-exhaust rounding out the rear end.
Naturally, the M3 sedan will launch before this M4 coupe (and convertible), and powertrain details are still unclear as of this writing. We understand that the current M3's naturally aspirated V8 will be axed in favor of some sort of turbocharged six-cylinder engine, and we've heard plenty of rumors as to what, exactly, it might be, but we have yet to hear any official confirmation.

BMW says current M3 sold out, no new AWD M models planned

Mon, 06 May 2013

Car and Driver asked the head of BMW M, Friedrich Nitschke, a few questions about what the go-fast division had in mind for the future, and was rewarded with some enlightening answers. The best news to purist ears is that Nitschke said customers don't want all-wheel drive on their M cars, so it's the rear wheels alone that will propel new product into the future. If you want both an M badge and four driven wheels, it's the X5 M, X6 M and M Performance models you're looking for in the catalog.
"Mixed bag" is the phrase you're looking for regarding the other answers. Nitschke said that future M engines "at the core of their architecture" would "be closer to BMW AG engines" that are optimized for M cars, instead of following in the line of unique marvels like the V10 and naturally aspirated V8. They will keep the high redlines, however, with Nitschke saying "there is room beyond" the 7,000 rpm mark in BMW's current V8 turbos.
Managing weight will keep the same priority for M that it is for every other brand, so electrically assisted power steering is coming, as is an "unconventional" materials mix. At the smaller end of the M scale, Nitschke described three-cylinder engines as "attractive," saying that the brand can produce more than 310 horsepower from a three-pot.
