Excellent car, with 165,000 miles, Except for the cost of repairs, without a doubt the nicest car I've owned, 385 house power v-8, this car is loaded with all the bells $65,000
dollars new...lol.
I had the car in storage, just recently replace the transmission, and had an insurance voucher to drive for 15 days to bring it home from Bmw.
My son ask me to drive it to work I agreed, no one was hurt in the accident but the Bimmer , front end damage repair cost are  to 6500 dollars , more than we want to spend. the car in in my garage out of the weather, the battery is brand new, transmission has warranty. Engine is not damaged, but the start is, one rocker arm is broken. If you are very interest, I could get the starter fix to turn the engine, but no connection to radiator!!
If you know this car, then you know how expensive the parts are, the wheel 5 sport wheels 18x9.5 and 3 18x8 - Tire are at 40%
engine service record, regular oil change.
Damage report the front bumper wrap,  hood, radiator, ac compressor, front left quarter, skirt, left headlight. One broke rocker arm.  I don't have the tools to part out
the car, so I'm placing the ad to sell the whole car as is where is..
Here are some posted prices for the part on this car.

2014 BMW 320i

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

When BMW switched its entry level 3 Series, the 328i, from a naturally aspirated, 3.0-liter six-cylinder to a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder, we weren't entirely sure what to think. Sure, from a pure numbers perspective, the new 2.0-liter cooked the old 3.0's goose, delivering more torque at far more accessible engine speeds while boosting horsepower and fuel economy.
While we miss that revvy six-pot, the numbers for the 2.0 were just way too good to pass up. Then we received news of an even less-powerful 2.0-liter 3 Series - the 320i. This was interesting, as it saw BMW delving into a power level previously owned solely by the anemic Lexus IS 250 and its six-cylinder engine.
Could BMW make a sub-200-horsepower sedan that still drove the way we expected a 3 Series to drive? To find out, we borrowed the new 320i for a week of testing.

Evo pits BMW M3 against Porsche Macan in drag battle

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

If you want to move five passengers in very rapid fashion and you've got a $75,000 budget, two newly introduced four-door models immediately come to mind - both are the highest performing vehicles in their respective segments. But which is faster off the line, to the 60-mile-per-hour benchmark or flat-out over an even longer run? Evo took both to paved aircraft runway to find out.
In lane one we've got the all-new Porsche Macan Turbo, which boasts a twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 rated at 400 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The Porsche is fitted with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, and the 4,244-pound crossover has the traction advantage of standard all-wheel drive. In lane two is the all-new BMW M3, powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six rated at 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It is also equipped with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, but only the rear wheels of the 3,595-pound sedan are driven. Both the BMW and Porsche arrive with launch control, which helps to remove driver error off the line.
Which automaker's launch control system is better off the line? Does all-wheel-drive grip give the crossover the advantage it needs to overcome its adversary's power-to-weight advantage? Will aerodynamics factor into the results? Which would you put in your garage, and why? The video may surprise you.

Toyota launches BMW-powered Verso in Europe

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

BMW makes some sweet-revving engines, but its own vehicles aren't the only ones running BMW engines. So do the latest from Rolls-Royce and Mini, of course, as well as a handful of Peugeots and Citroëns thanks to its joint engine program with PSA. Wiesmann uses BMW engines, as did the famous McLaren F1. And now we can add one more to the list.
That would be the Toyota Verso, a Corolla-based minivan which Toyota builds in Turkey and sells in Europe and a few other markets overseas. The Verso is also now officially the first beneficiary of the partnership between Toyota and BMW as the Japanese automaker has released the MPV with BMW's 1.6-liter turbodiesel four.
The 111-horsepower engine is coupled to a Toyota transmission and joins the Verso range as the fourth (and least powerful) engine in the lineup, alongside the 122hp 2.0 diesel and the gasoline options with 1.6 liters and 160 hp and 1.8 for 180. Future collaborations between the two automakers will include fuel-cell development, a new joint sportscar platform, lightweight bodywork research and a new generation of lithium-air batteries. See the press release below for further details.
