Original Owner 61,000 Miles Triple Black 645 Ci Convertible on 2040-cars
Huntington Beach, California, United States
|
I am listing this great 05 645Ci Convertible for a close friend and have known the car since he ordered the car brand new. The car is being sold as he is semi retired and this great sports car is not as convenient for extended vacations and hauling the grand kids, an SUV has taken it's place. In triple black it is a very desirable combination and shows very well with virtually no paint defects and none that can be seen in even detailed photos. Everything works as it should. The tires and a complete brake job including rotors was completed at 46,585 miles. Always serviced with Mobil 1 a complete service was done at 58,788 miles. Numerous maintenance records are available and as stated, everything works on this car as it should.
The original price as seen by the photo of the window sticker was $86,740.00 with options including Cold Weather Package $750.00, Premium Sound Package $1,800.00, Sport Package $2,800.00, Active Cruise Control $2,200.00, Head Up Display $1,000.00, Satellite Radio $595.00. This car has never been in an accident and is owned by a non smoker. You will not be disappointed in this 645Ci and will look like you are driving an $87,000 car for a fraction of the original price. Please carefully read this next line: DO NOT AND I REPEAT, DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR UNLESS YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO COMPLETE THE PURCHASE, I CONSIDER YOUR WINNING BID A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE, SO BE SURE YOU HAVE PERMISSION FROM YOUR SPOUSE, SIGNIFICANT OTHER, LOAN OFFICER, BEST FRIEND, ETC. While I have endeavored to describe this vehicle through words and photos as accurately as possible I WELCOME AND ENCOURAGE A PERSONAL INSPECTION and am happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. This vehicle is listed locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time for any reason. I doubt if you will find a better ONE ORIGINAL OWNER, LOW MILE, BMW 645 Ci CONVERTIBLE anywhere...and remember this a Southern California car that has never seen a snow flake or a salty road. Good luck bidding. |

Wards names its 2015 10 Best Interiors list
Fri, Apr 17 2015Wards Automotive has named the winners of its 10 Best Interior awards, covering a wide but affordable array of vehicles. Where last year's list contained two six-figure vehicles, including the $372,800 Rolls-Royce Wraith, this year's is, well, a whole lot more reasonable. The publication lists the Mercedes-Benz C400 at $65,000 (which seems off), making it the most expensive vehicle here. That said, we'd argue that the entire C-Class line deserves to make this year's list, owing to its varied and high-quality selection of materials. The other vehicle to break the $60,000 mark, meanwhile, is the $60,675 Ford F-150 King Ranch, which has 327,000 pounds of leather lining its interior. Only one other German car, the BMW i3, and one other pickup truck, the GMC Canyon, managed to make this year's list. Here's the full list of this year's winners: 2014 BMW i3 ($52,550) 2015 Chrysler 300C Platinum ($51,175) 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch ($60,675) 2015 GMC Canyon SLT ($40,465) 2015 Honda Fit EX-L ($21,590) 2015 Jeep Renegade Limited ($33,205) 2015 Kia Sedona SXL ($43,295) 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring ($33,395) 2015 Mercedes C400 ($65,000) 2015 Nissan Murano SL ($41,905) See what we mean about the mainstream vehicles? Not only is there a distinct lack of luxury brands, it's the price of some of the vehicles that surprise. The Honda Fit, Jeep Renegade and Mazda6 are very reasonably priced, especially when you compare Wards price with the starting price. The Renegade Limited starts at less than $25,000, the Mazda at less than $22K and the Fit at under $16,000. Head over to Wards for a more detailed explanation of why each vehicle won. You can buy Puma shoes inspired by BMW's fabric concept car
Tue, Jun 28 2016Back in 2008, BMW revealed the GINA Light Visionary Model – a concept car covered in fabric instead of metal body panels, placing it somewhere in between the fields of automotive design and fashion. Now BMW's Designworks studio applied the same idea to a pair of Puma shoes. The partnership brings the idea full circle: the car imitated shoes and now the shoes imitate the car. The new Puma BMW X-Cat Disc sneakers are covered in a single, seamless piece of metallic fabric. Instead of laces, the shoes pack Puma's Disc system that uses hidden wires hooked up to a dial on the tongue for adjustment. As they were for designed for driving, the X-Cat features rolled heels for quick pedal work – just like the Speed Cat, Future Cat, and Drift Cat that Puma furnishes to the likes of BMW Motorsport, Red Bull Racing, and Scuderia Ferrari. The combination of BMW design, seamless fabric, and high-tech adjustment makes these look like the slickest pair of kicks we've seen since Pininfarina designed sneakers for Fila. (And hopefully more durable. This writer had a pair of those that fell apart rather quickly.) The finished product ought to give the Adidas line by Porsche Design a run for its money when it launches in stores and online at Puma starting this Friday, July 1.
