This is my personal adult owned 2005 BMW 645. . . I assume if you're considering one of these cars, you are aware of the amenities and power of this vehicle. Insane power, Incredible comfort. This car was $82,000 when it was new. Rare Silver Grey exterior with an engine producing a pavement smashing 340 horsepower and 355 foot pounds torque. Sport Tuned Eibach Suspension with Upgraded 19 Inch Breyton Race GTS wheels. Complete and Loaded with Navigation, Xenon Lights, Heated Seats, Full Premium Seating, Premium Sound (Logic 7), Integrated Ipod Controls, Moon Roof, Etc. Etc..... 120K Miles. If you're looking at 645's or even a 650i, be sure to compare the differences in everything out there....

I've owned this car for over 3 years and it's literally been the best car I've ever owned. I've simply got my eye on a Porsche 911 and ready to move on. This has been an efficient, reliable daily driver. Do your research on the 6-Series vehicles. The engines and transmissions are incredibly solid. The high mileage on this car shouldn't cause you to worry. There is NOTHING wrong with this car. It has run perfectly with absolutely no problems. I have maintained this vehicle to every possible extent. All work has been professionally done by the BMW dealership (Rasmussen) and Matrix Integrated in Portland Oregon. Feel free to run a carfax report on the car. The title is clean. Never been in an accident. I have a STACK of original receipts on the work done to this car. It was a Certified Pre-Owned car from BMW.

I want to stress, all maintenance has been completed on time for the life of the car. I just had the coolant system flushed last month. Oil changed every 5000 miles since I've owned it. You could say the car has been over-maintained. I have around $10,000 in receipts in general maintainance and another $10,000 in receipts for performance and aesthetic motifications. Whoever is lucky enough to have this in their garage will get to drive it for thousands of maintenance free miles. .

Genesis G70 vs sport sedan rivals: How it compares on paper

We got our first look at the Genesis G70 sport sedan today. We think it looks good, with enough ties to its fellow Genesises (Geneses?) to further establish the brand and just enough distinction to help it stand out from the crowd. But ah yes, the crowd. Although Genesis didn't release the G70's full spec sheet, it revealed just enough for us to start sizing it up to its future competition. There are certainly others with which to compare (Lexus IS, Cadillac ATS, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Jaguar XE just to name a few), but we decided to take a look at the best sellers and most competitive luxury sport sedans. (And hey, if you like this, we can always do a follow up) So, here we have the Genesis G70 vs BMW 3 Series vs Audi A4 / S4 vs Mercedes-Benz C-Class vs Infiniti Q50. Nothing like a good chart to dig your teeth into on a Friday. Note that we only compared those models that line up with the G70. So, we left out the BMW 320i and Audi A4 Ultra entry level models as well as the Q50 3.0t mid-grade model that's considerably cheaper than the German performance upgrade models we listed. All 0-60 figures are rough estimates based on several sources, models/drivetrains and OEM figures. BMW i3 starts near $35,000; NA first deliveries January 2014

While in Germany at the first early pre-production drives of the hotly anticipated BMW i3, BMW people finally hinted at a price ballpark. Numbers being tossed around by pundits have actually been pretty close to what BMW is discussing internally - between $35,000 and just over $40,000. We have been assured now that the base price, should one choose to buy and not lease in the Euro zone, is just over 35,000 euro, with some big taxes included in that price. In the US, the starting price for the fully EV plug-in version should be $34,500 or right thereabouts. In addition to new pricing, we've also gotten our best-yet look at the i3, with the freshly uncovered spy shots you see here.
European deliveries begin in November of this year for the fully electric version of the rear-wheel-drive i3 with 168-horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The e-motor mounted over the rear axle is supplied with energy by the 22-kWh lithium-ion battery pallet under the passenger compartment. Recharging happens in any of three ways: public or personal garage plug-in charge station (garage version not included in the price), the onboard system's Pro Eco mode that adds resistance to the drivetrain in a type of rolling brake energy recuperation, or through the normal brake energy and off-throttle coasting regeneration more common to EVs. Range on a full charge of this drivetrain is said to be upwards of 100 miles under hyper-miling conditions.
Perhaps the best bit of news is that the alternative, range-extending, two-cylinder 600cc engine supplied by BMW Motorrad for the hybrid version of the i3 - mounted in the rear together with the e-motor - will add only 2,000 euros in Europe and about $2,000 in the US. This is a range-doubling solution that could have brought a much higher price gouge, so thank you, BMW. The hybrid e-drive i3 version arrives a couple months after the full-EV launch version. Remember that, unlike the very similar system for the Chevrolet Volt, the system in the i3 supplies no mechanical torque to the driven axle and is only used as a generator (a system BMW first used last year in the 1 Series-based Active ). The US is seen as the clear number one market for the i3.

BMW discussing new plant with Mexican authorities

Drawn in by low wages and manufacturing costs, BMW could be the next automaker to set up a manufacturing facility in Mexico. Automotive News is reporting that the German automaker has had discussions with local Mexican governments regarding a possible assembly plant, but there is no word as to when a decision may come down. Last we heard, BMW was reportedly looking to build the 3 Series in Mexico.
A key determining factor for this new plant is a free-trade agreement between the US and Europe, which according to the article, would give BMW better "flexibility and cost structure" to open another plant in North America. In terms of luxury automakers, Audi is currently building a new plant in Mexico and Mercedes-Benz is considering opening one in conjunction with Nissan for the CLA-Class, and in the bigger picture, Honda and Mazda are also preparing to kick off vehicle production in Mexico.
