I am selling my 2007 BMW 530xi 4D Sedan
I purchased this vehicle three years ago at a certified auction and used it for personal use only Mostly driving from home to the hospital and back. The car has 77533 Miles on it As far as electronics goes, everything is in tip top shape the only malfunction as i stated above is the AWD//DSC malfunction (needs sensor replacement in steering wheel BMW dealership said its as 450$ replacement) There is small scratch on front driver side bumper There are no dings or anything of that matter, and I have taken detailed pictures of the exterior and interior, If you are a serious bidder and have requests for certain pics I will gladly take more for you. A few hairline scratches on rear bumper right under the trunk The vehicle has never been in any accidents clear title There is no wear and tear inside the car everything is neat and clean I am a non smoker, so the car has never been exposed to cigarette smoke or anything of that sort I would prefer to meet up and sell locally and am willing to negotiate, however, I am also willing to sell to other states, Depending on sale price I might be wiling to include shipping cost on my end of the bargain. Next-gen Mini could sire 10 different models including PHEV
Sat, 12 Oct 2013The first generation of the reimagined, BMW-backed Mini was a simple things, confined to two body styles - hatchback and four-seat convertible. It wasn't until the second-generation platform came along that Mini began truly expanding, offering a long-wheelbase model, a roadster, a coupe, a five-door crossover, and a three-door, um, thing?
BMW is aiming for 10 to 12 different vehicles from just two brands off one platform.
According to an interview between Automotive News Europe and the BMW board member that oversees Mini, Peter Schwarzenbauer, the funky British brand will be expanding far beyond the seven body styles it currently offers. "With the new ULK architecture, we currently have in mind eight to 10 models," Schwarzenbauer told ANE. That architecture he mentions, will also underpin the BMW 1 Series GT and the BMW X1, meaning that BMW is aiming for 10 to 12 different vehicles from just two brands off one platform (and that's only what we know about).

Meet the inventor of the BMW 3 Series wagon
Sat, 11 May 2013It's hard to imagine, but once upon a time, there were only two BMW 3 Series variants: the coupe and sedan. Back before gran coupes, convertibles and yes, even touring models were available, buyers could only get their 3 Series fix if it came with two or four doors and a fixed roof. Back in the mid '80s, BMW engineer Max Reisbock was having some trouble fitting his whole family into his four door. Rather than suck it up and buy a van, he picked up a wrecked 3 Series and got to cutting in a buddy's garage. Months later, he had the very first 3 Series Touring ever built.
At first, he kept the the car to himself, using it to haul friends and family around, but he eventually showed it off to his friends at work. When the BMW executives found out about his project, they called him up to take a closer look. After putting an eyeball on the car, they took it, copied his design, made a few tweaks and quickly rolled out the first production 3 Series Touring. How's that for validation?
