Up for sale is a Fully Loaded 2006 BMW 530xi in Black Sapphire Metallic with a STEPTRONIC 6-Speed, Automatic Transmission. It only has 62,xxx miles. Some of the factory features it has is a Push Button Start, Navigation 8.8" Professional, HUD - Heads Up Display (which projects speedometer info, navigation directions, and more), Single mp3 Disc Player, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Premuim Package (which includes Black Dakota Leather Upholstery, Universal Garage Door Opener, Auto-dimming Mirror), Cold Weather Package (which includes, Heated Front Seats, Headlamp Cleaning System, Heated Steering Wheel), Premuim Sound Package (which includes a 6 CD Changer located in the glove box, Logic7 Surround Sound System), Shadow line trim and Comfort Seats.
I'm sad to see her go but I think its about that time. I'm looking to get an M model in the future. The car drives like a dream in all seasons. It is a very clean car and very well maintained. Paint is like glass; recently got a full paint correction done. Mechanically and cosmetically the car is great. Everything works from the heated steering wheel/ seats to the radio volume knob. Leather is in great shape. I would love to see this car go to a nice home and to a true car enthusiast. The car is fully loaded with almost every single option and package (only options it does not have is the rear fold down seats and the pdc sensors). I listed the factory specs above as well as some added upgrades done to the car within the pass year or 2 listed below. The upgrades alone cost about $8,000; I only used Genuine OEM BMW parts unless noted.

Two rare Alpina BMWs given the Petrolicious treatment
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Alpina is getting more and more ink because of because of that rolling cannonade known as the B7 and its closer ties with BMW. The company's tuning business dates to 1962 when Burkard Bovensiepen began fiddling with Weber carburetors, then his company began racing in 1968 and was eventually certified as an automaker in 1983.
Two of its rarer specimens from those early years have gotten a glance from the folks at Petrolicious: the E24 B10 and E24 B7S. Based on the BMW 6 Series, the Alpina versions made one of the most special coupes from the Eighties even more so. According to the video, there were only 44 B10s made, and the turbocharged, 333-horsepower B7S - this was in a luxury coupe in 1982, mind you - saw only 33 examples produced.

BMW could have a fuel cell vehicle by 2020
Sat, Jun 20 2015The Ultimate Driving Machine may start emitting water vapor, which may not thrill gearheads but could be good for the environment. BMW may have a hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle to sell as soon as the end of the decade, UK's Auto Express says, citing people familiar with the process that it didn't identify. And the model will likely be sold within the i sub-brand that includes the i3 electric vehicle and the i8 plug-in hybrid. "We are working on fuel cell development, but we are not able to comment on vehicle plans at this stage or timing at this point," BMW spokesman Dave Buchko wrote in an e-mail to AutoblogGreen on Thursday. Chatter about a potential BMW fuel-cell vehicle has been getting louder in recent months. Late last year, Autocar reported that BMW was mulling using Toyota's fuel-cell system for a version of what would be called the i5 (all the better to quietly cruise the interstate running up and down the West Coast, we guess). BMW and Toyota have been working together on accelerating the development of fuel-cell technology since 2013. Toyota has since made good on the effort of selling fuel-cell vehicles by introducing the Mirai in Japan last year and is preparing to start sales in California later this year. But BMW has been mum, so far.
