Convertible With Zhp Package on 2040-cars
Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, United States
Seller Comments Highly sought after ZHP Performance Package! Gorgeous Imola Red (only otherwise available on the M-Series and darker than the standard 3-Series red) convertible with black top and black leather interior. This is a two-owner
56,500 mile car and is extremely clean in every respect. I bought in 2006 with only 10,000 miles from
another individual and have driven lightly since. It has been an extra “fun” car for the last
two years and has been garaged for most of its non-driving time. I have used synthetic oil at recommended
service intervals and had any larger service performed by a BMW or dedicated
BMW shop. This car has had no major
bodywork (only front air dam work once) and has a clean title. Condition No known mechanical issues. Condition items are all normal wear and tear related:
Payment & Pick-Up $500 deposit via PayPal. Remaining payment to be via
cashier’s check. This car is located
near Jacksonville, Florida and is available for pick up here. On Feb-24-14 at 07:16:34 PST, seller added the following information: Revision Sorry for the typo but the wheels are 18" M Style Wheels - not 19". The tires are correctly listed as P225/40ZR18 Front & P255/35ZR18 Rear High Speed Tires |

BMW raises pricing on many models
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Buyers interested in a new BMW will start paying a bit more for their Ultimate Driving Machines, beginning yesterday. The Munich, Germany-based manufacturer has announced price hikes across nearly its entire range, covering model years 2013 and 2014, that will sting higher-end customers in particular.
Price increases are enough to get any consumer riled up, but the incremental nature of BMW's increase makes it a bit easier to swallow. All 1 Series and remaining 3 Series Convertibles (including the M3 Convertible) will see a $300 increase in price. All current-generation F30 3 Series, 5 Series GT and X3 crossovers will get their price bumped by $200. $500 increases are coming for the 6 Series range (not including the M6), while the diminutive X1 gets just a $100 increase.
Cars on the losing end of the price hikes include the newest M cars, the M5 and M6 Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe, which are being bumped $2,000. BMW is adding $1,000 to the sticker of all Z4s and the entire X6 range, including the X6M.
NHTSA gives okay for three automakers to skirt tire-related recalls
Thu, 25 Jul 2013BMW, Honda, and Mercedes-Benz are all going to avoid small recalls, after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued petitions for "findings of inconsequential noncompliance" to the three manufacturers, according to Tire Business. Basically, the petitions allow the brands to avoid recalls for some very, very minor issues.
BMW had tire placards on 364 X6 M CUVs that stated the car could only handle four passengers, when in reality it had room for three in the back. Actual plausibility of fitting three real humans in the slope-roofed Bimmer aside, the Munich-based manufacturer argued it was inconsequential, as the placards were correct regardless of the number of passengers.
Honda's case focused on 212 2011 and 2012 Acura TSX sedans equipped with 18-inch wheels. The TPMS systems on these cars were set for 17-inch wheels, rather than the larger hoops, but even with the lower settings, the tires maintain adequate load capacity.
BMW calls in 50,000 motorbikes over fuel pump leak
Tue, 07 Jan 2014If you don't often see motorbikes being recalled, it's probably because there's less to go wrong on a motorcycle. But a problem with the fuel pump on a wide array of BMW Motorrad products has prompted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a recall for over 50,000 of the Bavarian two-wheelers across America.
The issue revolves around the fuel pump flange on R-model, K-model, S 1000 and HP2 motorcycles built as far back, in some cases, to 2005 and as recent as 2012, depending on the model. The flange was found to be prone to crack and leak fuel, which NHTSA evaluated as a fire risk. As a result, precisely 50,184 such motorbikes are being recalled to have their flanges reinforced or, where necessary, to replace the entire fuel pump. If you're the owner of such a Bimmer bike, expect a call from your dealer sometime next month, but you can read the full notice below.
