I'm selling my 2003 BMW 330xi (E46) with a manual transmission. (VIN# WBAEW53443PG10429). The 330 is the largest engine in the 3-series class from this year- a 3.0 liter in-line 6 cylender-- and the car is full time all-wheel drive. It has just shy of 96,000 miles. I've owned for 2 years-- where it's been gently driven almost all on the highway. It has had it's own private parking spot, never street parked. No wrecks, clean title. I had a job in Connecticut that I needed to drive to 2x a week, but no longer have it so no longer need my car.
The car has a gorgeous silver exterior and black leather interior, along with premium features like a sun and moon roof, Harmon Kardon sound system, heated seats, trip computer (not an lcd display though). Other standard features are: Air Conditioning, Anti-lock Brakes, Bucket Seats, Center Console, Cruise Control, Fog Lights, Front Airbags (Dual), Front Side Airbags (Driver), Heated Mirrors, Intermittent Wipers, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Seat (Dual), Power Steering, Power Windows, Rear Window Defroster, Remote Trunk Release, Seat Memory, Steering Wheel Controls, Tachometer, Traction/Stability Control.
I'm asking lower than the average market price on Kelly Blue book and Clearbook, --and this is even taking into account the $1,000 in new tires and $600+on the suspension I just invested in for the car. I have all this paperwork I can turn over to you. Including all service records and carfax.
It's a gorgeous car-- And with full-time all wheel drive it is great for winters and rain. Very safe. Located In New York City-- private parking space.

BMW-Toyota sports car heading towards Tokyo debut
Mon, 20 May 2013Earlier this year, BMW and Toyota confirmed a four-part joint venture mostly focusing on increasing improving vehicle efficiency using fuel cells, lightweight materials and better battery technology. Also tucked into the announcement was a "feasibility study" for a shared platform to underpin a future midsize "sports vehicle."
In terms of the latter, it seems that things have stepped up from the feasibility stage to the conceptual stage, as Motor Trend reports we could see a pair of new sports car concepts debut later this year in at the Tokyo Motor Show. There isn't much information about the new program, but the article suggests the sports cars could be all-wheel drive hybrids, with electric motors powering the front wheels and a gas engine powering the rear wheels. While a partnership between Toyota and BMW might not lend itself to a catchy portmanteau like "Toyobaru," here's hoping it will bear fruit that is as exciting as the ones produced by the Toyota/Subaru tie up.
Evo pits BMW M3 against Porsche Macan in drag battle
Sun, 24 Aug 2014If you want to move five passengers in very rapid fashion and you've got a $75,000 budget, two newly introduced four-door models immediately come to mind - both are the highest performing vehicles in their respective segments. But which is faster off the line, to the 60-mile-per-hour benchmark or flat-out over an even longer run? Evo took both to paved aircraft runway to find out.
In lane one we've got the all-new Porsche Macan Turbo, which boasts a twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 rated at 400 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The Porsche is fitted with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, and the 4,244-pound crossover has the traction advantage of standard all-wheel drive. In lane two is the all-new BMW M3, powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six rated at 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It is also equipped with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, but only the rear wheels of the 3,595-pound sedan are driven. Both the BMW and Porsche arrive with launch control, which helps to remove driver error off the line.
Which automaker's launch control system is better off the line? Does all-wheel-drive grip give the crossover the advantage it needs to overcome its adversary's power-to-weight advantage? Will aerodynamics factor into the results? Which would you put in your garage, and why? The video may surprise you.
Next-generation BMW 5 Series spied in Touring trim
Wed, 10 Jul 2013It almost seems as if BMW just started selling the current-generation 5 Series, yet one of our spy photographers has already spotted a next-generation prototype in Touring form. Little is known about the luxury wagon in this early stage of testing, but it is expected to weigh much less than the current car, which, in 528i Touring guise with an automatic transmission, tips the scale at over 3,800 pounds. It is also expected to have the latest in driver-assistance technology. Despite the weight savings, and judging from the photos, it looks to have proportions similar to the current car, but don't expect the makeshift headlight and taillight clusters to make it onto the production model.
The crucial question for potential Touring customers in the United States is whether BMW will do the unexpected and import it here. The company's track record indicates that it will be sold in Rest of World markets only, but we're hoping that the next 5 Series will end the Touring's U.S. hiatus (and the 5 Series Gran Turismo's reign), which began in 2003 at the end of the E39 generation.
