THIS GOOD LOOKING BMW RUNS STRONG WITH PLANTY OF ENGINE AND TRANSMITION LIFE. I HAVE PURCHASED IT IN JULY 2012 FROM BIGGEST BMW DEALER IN ORLANDO (FIELDS) AND ONLY HAVE PUT 2500 MILES ON IT BECAUSE I HAVE BUSINESS CAR OND THIS ONE I WAS DRIVING JUST ON THE WEEKENDS.
LETS START WITH THINGS I'VE CHANGED (FOR NO EVIDENT NEED), ALTERNATOR, WATER PUMP, TERMOSTAT, UPPER AND LOWER COOLANT HOSES, COOLANT TANK WITH METAL BLEEDER, COOLANT (PRACTICLY BRAND NEW COOLING SYSTEM), BLUEISH HEADLIGHTS, AIR INTAKE HOSE, AIR FILTER AND CABIN AIR FILTER TOTALING ABOUT $3500, ALSO I HAVE PUT BMW LL1 MOTOR OIL WITH LIFE OF 15000 MILES (PLANTY LEFT0. STEREO STOPED WORKING RECENTLY BUT I'VE PURCHASED NEW KENWOOD WITH USB AND FACEPLATE AND HARNESS TO FIT THE CAR WHICH I WILL NOT INSTALL BUT WILL GIVE YOU. AFTER HALF OF HOUR DRIVING SOMETIMES OIL LIGHT BLINKS A LITTLE BIT (WHICH YOU WOULD NOT KNOW DURING TEST DRIVE BUT I AM COMPLETLY HONEST) AND IT'S LIKE THAT SINCE I'VE GOT THE CAR. I'VE TRIED COUPLE OF MECHANICS AND AFTER ALL RESERCH AND COMPUTER TESTS NOTHING SHOWS UP. MECHANIC TOLD ME AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT LOOSING OIL EVERITHING IS FINE. I'VE GOOGLE IT AND ON MANY SITES PEOPLE WROTE ABOUT SAME ISSUE, PEOPLE DRIVE LIKE THAT FOR YEARS BUT BMW SHOULD HAVE IT RECALED AND THEY DID NOT I GUESS BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT IS THE PROBLEM. SEE THIS WEB SITES FOR EXAMPLE

CLEAR TITLE IN HAND WITH NO LIENHOLDER.

TWO KEYS AND ALL THE BOOKS.

CAR RUNS LIKE NEW, VERY STRONG WITH POWER. THANK YOU

P.S. I've changed now two oil sensors (on oil pan and oil filter housing, even though computer did not show them at fault) and runned car two times for one hour and light did not come on (but can not guaranty it will not come back in a future).

I AM CONFIDENT THIS CAR WOULD MAKE IT ANYWHERE IN THE U.S. LIKE NEW CAR

Behind the Scenes of BMW's 'Drift Mob,' Part 2 [w/video]

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

After spending four days practicing about a dozen drift stunt moves in a parking lot for an upcoming BMW "Drift Mob" internet mini-film, Rhys Millen, Sam Hübinette, Dai Yoshihara, Rich Rutherford, and Conrad Grunewald are finally ready for show time. We are brought to the huge urban traffic circle to see the stunts performed midway through the day to observe for a couple of hours.
The undertaking is massive, with multiple cameras set up, scores of crew members, a helicopter filming from above, a rigged pickup for car-to-car shots, sidewalks lined with security and plenty of curious onlookers, and oh, yeah, a major intersection of a top world city shut down for an entire weekend.
The five drifting legends are nestled in their identical red BMW M235i coupes, which have been modified with special handbrakes but essentially nothing else you can't get on a stock version, and are listening to direction from director Mic Rodgers and stunt coordinator Riley Harper. We're basically given free rein of the set, to shoot the cars, the drivers, and at one point, even hopping in with Yoshihara for one of the admittedly more tame stunts. Even then, the g-forces are so severe that they flip our cameraphone's video recording from landscape mode to portrait. Yes, this is a pretty cool day to be reporting on cars, and as we said during our first installment of our behind the scenes coverage of Drift Mob, we're honored to be the only US media outlet here to tell the tale.

Are you the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe?

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

Thanks to Austrian website Autofilou (via Jalopnik), we now have our first look at what appears to be the upcoming BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe - the four-door version of the new 4 Series coupe, which itself is based on the 3 Series sedan. Makes total sense, right?
Nevertheless, in our First Drive of the 4 Series coupe, we found it to be a much more engaging experience than the 3 Series on which its based. And if this new 4GC follows in those footsteps, it could prove to be a better 3 Series sedan than, well, the 3 Series sedan.
Expect the 4 Series Gran Coupe to come in 428i and 435i flavors, with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four in the base car and a 3.0-liter turbo-six in the higher-end model. Of course, BMW will likely bring a range-topping M4 Gran Coupe to market not long thereafter.

Rolls-Royce sketching out SUV for possible 'late 2017' release

Wed, 14 May 2014

With each new story on the Rolls-Royce SUV, the Goodwood automaker comes off as more at ease with their reluctantly birthed yet necessary sport ute. Company design chief Giles Taylor told Autocar that his team is still "sketching to assess the viability of the concept," which to ours ears means they're trying to figure out if such a beast is even possible within the confines of the brand. If it is, Taylor says it will be "a shooting brake, not a crossover with a sloping roof. A proper SUV."
A different company source, unnamed, seems confident that Taylor's team will figure it out, telling the magazine it would start at 200,000 pounds ($335K US). However, that same source said the vehicle will be "a kind of Mercedes-GLK-plus-plus," which is a baffling description in several ways. More reasonable is the speculation that it will ride on Ghost, not Phantom, architecture and make its debut sometime around late 2017.
That Ghost platform is expected to take cues from the carbon, aluminum and steel bones that supported the BMW Vision Future Luxury concept shown at the Beijing Motor Show and destined for the 9 Series. Some of those tricks will also go into the next-generation Phantom, which Autocar says will come in 2017 and not 2020.
