For sale is my 330ci with 124k. Sport package, Winter package. I purchased this car back in 06 and was planning to keep it for ever and took care of her with that in mind. The reason im selling is because the opportunity presented itself for me to get a great deal on an M3 and no reason for me to keep them both. The car runs like a dream. I've invested a lot of money into it and always kept up with maintenance. Always OEM parts or quality aftermarket from vendors like TMS and Bavarian. Oil changes every 6k with OEM Castrol, Redline or Lubro Molly. Next is a list of work done in the last year and mods.
Work done in the past year: *Full cooling system overhaul (radiator, belts, thermostat, hoses and ccv) *Brakes rotors/pads front and rear *Continental DWS tires *Brand new Jim Conforti ITG filter MODS: INTERIOR: *M3 seats, panels, alcantara steering wheel (also have leather M3 steering wheel if u prefer) *UUC shift knob, pedals, mats *New A, B, C, pillars *Kenwood double din radio *Brushed aluminum trim EXTERIOR: *M3 front bumper, H style skirts (also have OEM M3 skirts painted included), H style rear bumper, E36 M3 style mirrors, M3 spoiler *Xenon headlights with angel eyes, H style eyebrows *Led taillights, corners and side markers *Shadowline window trim ENGINE/PERFORMANCE: *Jim Conforti CAI (brand new) *UUC catback exhaust *UUC strut bar *Bilstein coilovers *HP racing 18" wheels staggered set up with like new Continental tires DWS *New windshield cowl *17" rim in trunk/spare Body paint is about 3 years old. Theres a minor dent in quater panel. M3 rear seat is 6/10. H style skirts need painting thats why im including like new painted OEM M3 skirts. |

BMW 3 Series set for mild facelift
Fri, 28 Mar 2014The latest BMW 3 Series is pretty new, right? Well it's been on the market for the better part of three years now. And on a typical six-year production cycle, that means it's halfway through its life. It only makes sense, then, that BMW should be preparing a little mid-life facelift, and that's just what we appear to be looking at in these latest spy shots.
The changes will likely be minimal when the revised 3 Series debuts sometime in the middle of next year, with the visual changes to the exterior centering around a new front bumper. New lighting front and rear may also be part of the package, and you can also expect some updates to the interior while those Bavarian engineers are at it. Take a closer look in the gallery of high-res spy shots above for an idea of what to expect.
Alpina D3 may be coming to Frankfurt with 350 hp, AWD
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Rumors are swirling that Alpina, the tuning house that specializes in all things BMW, will followup its Geneva debut of the B3 Bi-Turbo with an oil-burning variant slated for debut at September's Frankfurt Motor Show. The news comes from Auto Zeitung, which reports that the second-generation D3 will be based off the Europe-only 335d.
This is a departure from the last D3, which had the four-cylinder turbo-diesel from the BMW 123d in a 3 Series body. The new model is expected to use a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged inline-six, which will generate 350 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. That should scoot it to 62 miles per hour in under five seconds (likely while towing a tree stump). Both rear- and all-wheel drive should be available on the D3, and we imagine the thrill of this much power channeled through just the two rear wheels to be akin to skydiving sans parachute.
For our European friends that want an Alpina D3, but don't need more torque than any American full-size pickup, there may be plans to offer a four-cylinder variant that still delivers Alpina performance without a compromise in economy. We'll have more on the Alpina D3 when it debuts at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
BMW M135i vs. Mercedes A45 AMG in Euro small-lux throwdown
Fri, 19 Jul 2013BMW and Mercedes-Benz - please, please, please bring the M135i and A45 AMG hatchbacks to North America. For as long as we can remember, buyers in the New World have been forced to look longingly at Europe and Great Britain and the excellent super hatches that are so routinely offered there. And while we're quite content with the Ford Focus ST and Volkswagen GTI, having a 360-horse five-door with a premium, content-rich interior sounds quite nice.
Our envy for Europe has grown after watching the latest video from Drive, which stars Chris Harris, the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG and the BMW M135i. This latest battle between MB and BMW takes place on both road and track, with Harris providing a running commentary. If you're interested in the upcoming Mercedes CLA45 AMG, you should pay special attention to the section on the A45, as the two are essentially fraternal twins. While the video is a bit on the long side, it provides a comprehensive rundown of both cars, giving those of us in North America just a small taste of what we're missing.
