Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Selling my BMW 1990 e30 Cirrusblau metallic 325i. 2-door 5spd w/black leatherette interior which has the more desirable sport seats. Car has 316,XXXkms but looks and drives like a car with a fraction of the mileage; rebuilt stroker motor has ~13,000kms, so it has just been broken in.

Body has practically no rust, has no known accidents and the original 24yr/old paint still shows nicely - just had a cut polish done. Local B.C. car all of it's life since it was delivered from Auto West BMW. Never winter driven during my ownership, it is only insured currently for the sale.
Currently Aircared (our strict emissions testing program) till summer and ready to go!

No expense has been spared throughout the years and only quality OE or OEM parts have been used. The major systems are in check. All the creature comforts are in good working order: PW, PDL, Heated seats, A/C, Power/heated mirrors, sunroof, keyless entry/alarm, Blaupunkt deck, etc.....

BMW Vision Future Luxury Concept is bold and beautiful in Beijing

Sun, 20 Apr 2014

BMW officially unveiled the Vision Future Luxury Concept today (or is it tomorrow?) at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, giving the world's media an in-the-flesh look at not only a future design theme for the brand, but a rumored flagship model.
This is a looker in person, thanks to its Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe-inspired design, and it's not too difficult to imagine it in production car form, with smaller wheels, larger mirrors and the other minor transformations that take place from drawing board, to auto show and, finally, to assembly line. In general, it seems like there are more than a few parts of this vehicle that are ready for production.
We didn't talk about it in our initial post, but it bears mentioning that this particular concept is wearing an eDrive badge on its backside, indicating that under the Vision Future Luxury's long hood is some form of plug-in-hybrid propulsion. It's anyone's guess as to what engine, battery and motor combinations BMW is playing with, although it does seem questionable whether BMW would launch a PHEV flagship to do battle with a top-rung variant of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (which will likely use V12 power).

Forza Motorsport profiles courageous paralyzed racer

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

It's easy to look at racing video games as just a time waster or a hobby. In reality, though, they're often powerful tools for aspiring racers to learn tracks, race craft and how to set up a car in an easily accessible, risk-free environment. We aren't just talking about proper computer-based sims, like iRacing. Console-based racers like Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo provide a test bed for racers of all sorts.
For Mario Bonfante, Jr., a former motorcycle racer that was involved in a brutal accident that left him in a wheelchair with only limited use of his arms, Forza is a bit more. It allows him to perfect the setup of his personal racecar, a heavily modified E46 BMW M3, complete with hand controls.

BMW-Toyota partnership to spawn hybrid supercar

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

BMW and Toyota inked a partnership some time ago to develop green technology, and while we were excited by the idea of a reborn Supra with BMW's carbon fiber reinforced plastic slashing the curb weight or an ultra-efficient, hybridized 1 Series, the joint efforts have been rather limited. That's set to change, though, according to a report from Australia.
Motoring reports that the partners have come to terms on a sports car. And not just any sports car, but a lightweight, hybridized model, with a six-figure price tag. Lending a bit of street cred to that idea is the site's claim that Toyota is currently carrying out durability testing on the BMW i8. According to the site, the new model will slot into the spot left by the Lexus LFA, although based on the language used, it's unclear if this is the Tokyo-bound vehicle we mentioned several months ago.
Details on this potential car are limited, although Motoring claims it will use a Toyota hybrid system mated up to a BMW gas engine - likely the 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 found in the M5 and M6. That sounds pretty amazing to us, but we'd still advise taking this with a grain of salt. What would you like to see out of a joint-venture supercar from Toyota and BMW? Let us know in Comments, and have your say on the prospects of a hybridized, twin-turbocharged V8.
