You are looking at the most rare and clean car of its type on ebay...I have treated this car like my baby and it has all the upgrades and packages that I could get at that time...I will try and list them out 1 X 1 but this beauty really shines like new even after 6 yrs.

  1. Premium Package
  2. Sports Package
  3. Cold Weather Package
  4. Comfort Access (Keyless Entry and Keyless Start)
  5. Memory Key (Sets to your own setting of seats and mirrors)
  6. BMW OEM Performance Steering Wheel (Very useful)
  7. Paddel Shifters
  8. Navigation
  9. Logic 7 surround sound system
  10. MTECH Rear Bumper
  11. OEM M3 Side Fenders
  12. Carbon Fiber (cloth) interior
  13. Trunk Lip
  14. Xenon Style Tag Lamps
  15. Adaptive XENON headlamps, adjusts to the level of the road and turns.
  16. New tires...hardly 2000 miles on them.
I think I covered it all but you will be surprised that the car looks really different with these upgrades and there is nothing like it on the road. So if you are like me, a true BMW enthu, then this is something you will cherish...family is growing so I am looking into getting a SUV and I wish if I could keep this but can't afford to keep 2 high perf. cars....I know I will regret selling it because driving this beast is a true pleasure....there are normal wear and tear on this car. The front right bumper is scratched and cracked little bit at the bottom...I could have fixed it but I wanted the new owner to know everything about the car...Never been in an accident someone touched the car from behind when parked and tag plate screws left an imprint on the rear bumper (see pictures)...hardly noticeable.....there are also some door dings and one that is little noticeable is on the driver side and one of the wheel is little scratched (see pictures)....Car is really clean and looks and rides amazing!!!

Also I am attaching a video link so you can see the OEM BMW PERFORMANCE STEERING wheel in action!!! http://youtu.be/MWWzVpjRCdg

2015 BMW S 1000 RR looks to retain sportbike supremacy

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

The BMW S 1000 RR is already a pretty potent member of the superbike ranks, but BMW is revealing a host of upgrades for this two-wheeled lightning bolt at the Intermot 2014 motorcycle show that should make it even faster.
The biggest additions to the latest 1000 RR are its new cylinder head, lighter valves and different intake cam to tweak even more power from the bike's 1.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, and BMW now rates it at a claimed 196 horsepower (or 199 horses if you go with the European measurement, converted from 146 kilowatts), a boost over the first-gen's 193 ponies, and 83 pound-feet of torque through a six-speed gearbox. Those adjustments would probably be enough to make the cycle a tick faster alone, but the Bavarian engineers also cut 8.82 pounds (4 kg) to bring the motorcycle's weight with a full tank of fuel to a feather-light 450 pounds. Much of that diet comes from the redesigned exhaust that cuts about 6.6 pounds off the scales.
Cradling that tweaked engine is a redesigned, lighter frame with fully adjustable springs. The bike also comes standard with Race ABS, stability control, seven-step variable traction control and three riding modes. In terms of styling, all of these changes are communicated through an updated fairing with repositioned, though still asymmetric, headlights.

Hamann M6 Gran Coupe is all flared and shiny

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Oh, Hamann. After rolling out the ridiculously pink Mystère at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the tuning company has worked its mirror-finishing magic on the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, debuting this, the aptly named "Mirror" at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It sure is shiny, and a full 40 millimeters wider than the standard M6 GC.
Hamann says that the, um, "tailor-made suit" exterior treatment is made up of a new front bumper spoiler with large air intakes, side skirts, a new rear spoiler, and wing extensions out back. And the end result is... well, let's just call it noticeable. The special BMW rides on unique 21-inch wheels and sits a full 25 millimeters closer to the ground, as well.
As far as we can tell, Hamann hasn't upgraded the M6's 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 at all, though there's a new sport exhaust system that "depending on the application area, either noisily announce its presence or purr sportily." Sounds like it's as loud as its newfound appearance.

Alex Zanardi back in the driver's seat with BMW

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

If there's ever been an inspirational story in the pantheon of motor racing history, surely it's that of Alessandro Zanardi. The Italian driver worked his way up the motor racing ladder, making it into Formula One and winning two CART championships for Chip Ganassi Racing back before the series re-merged into IndyCars. Tragedy struck in 2001 when he lost both his legs in a crash at the Lausitzring in Germany, but rather than accept his fate, Alex pushed on. Fitted with prosthetic limbs, he learned to drive a racing car with hand controls and got back in the driver's seat.
Zanardi drove for BMW in the European Touring Car Championship and then in the World Touring Car Championship that replaced it, landing on the podium several times despite his physical disadvantage. He left racing in 2009 to train for the Paralympics, winning two gold medals in London, but Alex apparently couldn't shake the racing bug. BMW modified one of its M3 DTM racers with hand controls for him to test later that year. And now he's returning to motor racing full time.
BMW has just announced that Zanardi will be driving a Z4 GT3 in the Blancpain Sprint Series, the successor to the FIA GT Series and short-distance counterpart to the Blancpain Endurance Series. The car has been modified with the hand controls the Bavarian automaker's racing department fitted to the aforementioned M3 DTM and will be fielded by the ROAL Motorsport team with which Alex challenged for the European Touring Car Championship last decade.
