See pictures for condition detail. Car is in overall very good condition for age, though a driver and not a show car. Interior is in good shape, though needs to have dealer installed AC unit reinstalled (this part will be included with sale). No tears or rips on seats or door cards, minor wear on drivers' door card near window crank. Car has received a factory color respray at some point in it's life, and is of driver quality. Car is mechanically solid and has been well maintained. Has received recent brake and suspension work and engine tune up, as well as fluid replacement. Passes NH inspection without any problems, and has recently been driven long distances without faults. No known issues with engine or transmission, car has been a daily driver all summer and has been driven over 2000 miles in the last couple of months. An overall great driving example. Mileage may increase as car is still being driven.
Car is currently registered and inspected in NH, and title exempt due to age. If your state requires a title to register, contact me prior to bidding or purchasing, so that we can agree on a plan to acquire a title. Feel free to ask any questions, and come look at/drive the car. Seller is responsible for picking up vehicle after sale. Car is for sale locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the auction in the event it sells. More Pictures can be viewed here:
On Sep-12-14 at 15:49:30 PDT, seller added the following information: This was originally a California car, and was shipped from Novato, CA to Burlington, MA in February of 2004 with 106,596 miles on the odometer. This means that this car has been driven less than 3,000 miles in New England since being delivered from California ten years ago, with 2,000 of those miles taking place in the last two months. |

BMW iNext coming in 2021 with lots of new tech
Thu, May 12 2016BMW has been showing off fanciful visions of the future with concept cars like the appropriately named BMW Vision Next 100 Concept. But the company is also a full-time player in the plugged-in vehicle sales effort, and on that front we learned a little bit more about the next (we think) BMW i vehicle, the i NEXT, which is coming in 2021. Speaking today at BMW's 96th Annual General Meeting in Germany, the Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, Harald Kruger, said that the i NEXT will be, "our new innovation driver, with autonomous driving, digital connectivity, intelligent lightweight design, a totally new interior and ultimately bringing the next generation of electro-mobility to the road." Kruger first talked about the i NEXT a few months ago. Okay, granted, that's not a lot of detail, and we would expect a vehicle not due for another five years to have a "totally new interior." But at least it's a little glimpse into the new ways that BMW wants to sell us plug-in vehicles. It's going to update the current line-up with the i3 getting a 50-percent electric range boost and the BMW i8 Roadster in 2018. Kruger said that, when it comes to electric cars, its about more than specs and details: The discussion about e-mobility is an emotional one, but the decisive factor is that we move things forward. I am certain that government measures will prove effective. It is always better to make a decision than to wait – and the purchase incentive will directly benefit customers. There was never any doubt that we would participate. Such a participation by the industry is unique worldwide. After all, the only way to make progress is by manufacturers, customers, lawmakers and society all working together. Upcoming new BMW X6 leaks out ahead of full reveal
Thu, 05 Jun 2014The X5 may have been the first BMW crossover on the market when it arrived in 2000, opening the door to more high-riding Bavarians to follow, but it's been replaced twice over now. The X3 is on its second generation, and with the X1 having been introduced in 2009 and the X4 soon to hit showrooms, that makes the X6 - introduced in 2008 - the oldest crossover in the BMW lineup. But it won't be for much longer.
Soon BMW will reveal the all-new X6, based on the latest X5 but with that tell-tale slanted roofline. But before it gets the chance, a handful of images have leaked their way all over the Internet to give us an advance look at what to expect.
The overall shape of the new X6 comes across as familiar, if a bit less of an awkward take on the vehicle that (for better or worse) launched the crossover coupe segment. Up front the twin kidney grilles and headlights are larger, in keeping with the latest BMW design language, and the bumper less horizontal and more dynamic. Towards the back there's a sharp crease above the wheel arch blending into the more rakishly shaped tail lights, while the metallic vent behind the front wheel arch lends the flank an even sportier appearance.
