I bought this vehicle a couple of years ago during a better financial time. I hate to see it go but its time for it to find a new home. The car was victim to some minor vandalism that was never resolved and I don't have the money to put into it for the repairs. It runs great and spends most of its time sitting in my car port. I've replaced the problem plastic intake tubes that became common problems on this car with custom made stainless steel versions powder coated gloss black and they work and look excelent. This car runs smooth. When I bought the car I drove it from New York to Key West with no problems. I've since taken it from Key West to Maryland, Maryland to Northern Georgia and back to Key West again with no problems. This is a little driving machine. It still has plenty of power and feels like driving a little race car although I've always babied it. The wheels and tires are still in good shape, rims are only a couple years old. Interior is in great shape, driver seat does have small gap in seam, nothing big. Floors and trunk are carpeted with black carpet. Dashboard has a couple small cracks, it's 40 years old, what can you do? I'll put links to videos of me driving the car below. The purchase of the vehicle will be dealt with through my bank so no need for any worry. I will require a deposit of $500 within 24 hours of winning the auction, non-refundable for non-payment. In the event of a non-buyer I will consider re-listing the car. If it should not sell I do intend to have the paint repaired and trying to sell again with a greatly increased price. I am a very busy student and selling this car would make my life much easier right now. It will be my ticket to flight school and I would rather sell it than trouble with repairs and the right buyer. Take advantage of my misfortune and get this car for much less than what it is worth. The right person could make this rare car remarkable. BMW shows off 435i Coupe with M Performance parts

Greetings from the famous Circuito do Estoril racetrack in Portugal. We're here to put the 2014 BMW 4 Series coupe through its paces, and we'll have the chance to sample the updated 2014 BMW M5 with its new Competition Pack, as well. But before going out for some hot laps, we took a few minutes to check out this 435i Coupe that's been fitted with a full suite of goodies from the BMW M Performance parts catalog.
Starting with the exterior, carbon fiber bits are the most noticeable additions, with the lightweight material added in the form of a massive front splitter, mirror caps and a rear spoiler. Other visual changes include lightweight 20-inch wheels, a blacked-out grille, and unique M Performance side stripes. No, that's not a shadow you see under the 435i's strong side character line - that's a stripe. Yes, we're serious.
Inside (we couldn't get photos of the interior, sorry!), BMW has added its sport steering wheel with race display, unique M floormats, steel pedals, and a whole mess of carbon fiber and Alcantara trim.

BMW X5 eDrive Concept is utilitarian plug-in hybrid

Bridging the gap between internal combustion engine-powered vehicles and electric vehicles are plug-in hybrids, and BMW has made one out of its biggest sports utility vehicle, even if it's just a concept car at this point. The plug-in hybrid X5 eDrive Concept debuted today at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it sits attached to a charge port on the show floor.
As we reported in August, the X5 eDrive Concept combines a turbocharged four-cylinder engine of unknown output with a 95-horsepower electric motor, to achieve longer range and lower emissions. The X5 eDrive can drive up to 75 miles per hour and 19 miles on electric power alone, manage about 62 miles per gallon (3.8 liters per 100 kilometers) and accelerate from 0-62 mph in under seven seconds, according to BMW.
Three drive modes are offered: one that automatically operates the hybrid system, an all-electric mode and a Save Battery mode that operates the vehicle using the engine only.
